Chapter 06 : Wild Like The West

Jungkook sat in his black swivel chair without giving a care to the outside world. He set the documents in his hands down and turn his computer on. He wanted to distract his mind, but no matter what he did, his mind would return to the incident from earlier at Jade Condo. Everytime he thought about the woman outside Seok Jin's door, an unknown feeling kept rising in his heart. A feeling he's never felt before.

Jungkook leaned back and pinched the space between his brows, sighing softly.

At this moment, the sudden knock on his door interrupted his train of thoughts.

"Come in," he spoke indifferently.

The door opened and a young man in office suit enters. In his hand were a stack of papers and folders. He stopped about three feet away from the desk. Jungkook didn't bother himself to look up at the worker, but his brows creased intensely. He had a good sense of smell and the strong feminine perfume coming from the worker was too unbearable.

Alex looked nervously at Jungkook as he smiled and spoke in the softest tone he could mastered, "Mr Jeon, I have some things here regarding the contract with TB Corporation."

Jungkook didn't speak a word, but his expression remained indifferent.

Alex took his silence as cue to continue, "You see, I'm having a bit of difficulty because TB Corporation's chairman sent in a new contract. I've checked it and he has revised the old contract, adding in more offers for our company."

He paused and glance at the man sitting down. With his cheeks blushing shyly, he continued, "Stated in the new contract, Mr Choi will be a shareholder to our company and would increase your shares at TB Corporation by five percent."

Finishing her words, Alex takes a few steps forward and place the documents and folders down on the desk.

As he moves his hands away, he brush his fingers on the smooth and cold surface of the desk. Taking a step back, he blushed again, "These are the new printouts of the new contract sent by Mr Choi."

He bit his lower lip with a small lick, "I couldn't possibly make a decision, so I came to find you."

Glancing at the man again, he blush innocently like a lovesick boy and stare at the floor.

Jungkook frowned with his lips slightly pursed. He had remained indifferent paying no mind to the worker because he was his employee, but that was until the worker touched his desk. He was someone who had a strong dislike...no a strong hate when others touch his things, especially if it's intentional, deliberate.

Only his parents, brother and now Kim Seok Jin were exceptional.

Jungkook's eyes softened at the sudden thought of Kim Seok Jin.

Then remembering that a foul odor was still in his office, his eyes turned ten shades darker and the temperature of his office turned to a freezing winter night.

Alex who was nervous became more nervous when he didn't hear a response from the handsome CEO sitting behind his desk. Did he make a mistake in taking this task ?

He was too lost in his plans that he did not notice the murderous look emitting from the man. With a quick step forward, he spoke in a brittle voice, "Ah, Mr Jeon, i-it's like this, I wanted to—"

Before his palms could even touch the desk again, Jungkook's thunderous voice abruptly stops him in place.

"Find Assistant Henry."

Alex was flabbergasted. If he hadn't steadied himself, he would have fallen into the floor. He calmed his heart and fiddled nervously with his fingers, looking like a shy school boy speaking to his senior crush.
