Chapter 09 : Guilt Ridden Euphoria

The door to Seok Jin's penthouse open and Mia sighed in relief seeing her boss standing normal and without any harm. After standing outside for what felt like an eternity and ringing the bell more than fifty times, when no one opened the door, Mia was about to call the emergency but at that time, the door opened from inside and Seok Jin stood in front of her without any possible harm.

Mia walks through the door and the moment Seok Jin close the door, the both of them froze in place. The corners of Seok Jin's mouth twitched intensely, while Mia's mouth opened into an 'O'.

Sitting leisurely like a noble king on one of Seok Jin's white couch was a man so handsome, he looked like a sculpture, despite his cold and aloof aura. His arms crossed over chest as he lean back on the couch with one leg cross, making a four figure.

Seok Jin glared at him. He had told him to hide. How could he not listen to him at all ? Did Seok Jin's words go in one ear and out the other ?

Taking deep long breathe, Seok Jin walks over and sits down on the empty seat next to the man. His movements looked natural, like it was a normal thing to do. Mia stare at the duo sitting on the couch. Her boss was tall but compare to the man, he looked so delicate and tiny.

Seok Jin sighed. Just looking at Mia's confused face, he could already guess what the lady was thinking.

"Sit."

Mia oblige her boss's order. Walking over to the other couch, she was intrigued to the max. It's been years since she's seen her boss in a relationship. Just how shocking is that for her poor heart ? Mia blinked countless times. Still seeing Jungkook sitting next to Seok Jin, her heart rate quickened.

"Why are you here so early in the morning ?"

"I came to report to you and give you a rough draft of the new design." She hands a thin black folder to Seok Jin.

Seok Jin frowned quietly at the folder, but still took it. Scanning through it, he nod his head in approval and close it. "You could have handed it to me at work."

Embarassed, Mia scratch the tip of her nose. "I planned to, but... I have to pick up Inu and the rest of of your things. Remember ?"

Seok Jin's eyes lit up like the first star in the sky. "Inu is here ? Bring him here after you pick him up. No, buy him the things he needs then bring him here." After that, he clapped his palms together in excitement, "Oh, my baby is finally here. I can't wait to see him!"

Mia looked at her boss and her shoulders rose, until she looked like a turtle who just went back inside its shell. Can't her boss not act that away ? Can't he see that the man next to him has turned into Asura ?

Seok Jin was in a wonderful mood suddenly, he had the urge to go shopping. However, unlike him, Jungkook was in a very foul mood. He was eating another full jar of vinegar. He didn't know who this Inu was. His man is overjoyed by another man, so it was natural for him to feel this way.

Thinking of something, Jungkook sat up and lean his head to Seok Jin. He pecks a kiss on Seok Jin's cheek and then stood up.

"Love, I'll go set the table."

Seok Jin, "...."

Mia, "...."

Both of their eyes widen at the same time. Seok Jin turned his head and glare viciously at the man with no shame. He fumed inside and immediately turn his head back to Mia. His eyes blinked as if he had dirt in it.

Mia's expression was far from worse than him. She was gaping like a fish out of the sea on death's door. Returning to her five senses, she stuttered, "Mr Kim, w-who is h-he ?"
