It had been a week since the cursed wax statue incident. Sure, it wasn't a pleasant memory, but at least it was behind the kids now. The best thing was not to dwell on it too much and certainly not to tell Stan the full truth just yet.
A new day dawned, with the sun shining through the mountains of Gravity Falls. Outside the Mystery Shack, Stan and his housekeeper stood with a group of tourists. After a long tour, it was time for Stan's final scam.
"For tonight's final illusion, we have the incredible," Stan began, pulling a sack from behind his back and jingling it before the crowd. "Sack of Mystery." The crowd gasped in awe at the seemingly mysterious sack, which was actually just an ordinary potato sack from the supermarket. "When you put your money in it, it mysteriously disappears!"
N, the drone, didn't want to be part of the scam. After the words from the wax Sherlock Holmes, he couldn't shake his unease, yet he remained loyal to Stan, ensuring his safety.
The crowd clapped and murmured in awe, eagerly handing over their money. Stan smiled, pleased with the successful scam. N shook his head at how easily people were fooled, remembering Stan's words: ❝🇵🇪🇴🇵🇱🇪 🇦🇷🇪 🇪🇦🇸🇾 🇹🇴 🇫🇴🇴🇱. 🇹🇭🇪🇾'🇱🇱 🇧🇪🇱🇮🇪🇻🇪 🇯🇺🇸🇹 🇦🇧🇴🇺🇹 🇦🇳🇾🇹🇭🇮🇳🇬, 🇦🇸 🇱🇴🇳🇬 🇦🇸 🇮🇹'🇸 🇸🇴🇲🇪🇹🇭🇮🇳🇬 🇹🇭🇪🇾 🇼🇦🇳🇹 🇹🇴 🇧🇪🇱🇮🇪🇻🇪.❝
After the tour, Stan and N headed back inside the shack, towards the living room where Soos and the twins were. A commercial they didn't want to hear for different reasons was playing on TV.
The commercial ended with, "Wow! I'm getting all curious-y inside!" Mabel beamed, amazed.
Stan and N entered the living room. N tried to turn off the TV to prevent further curiosity, but the remote was nowhere to be found. Stan quickly shut down the fake propaganda aimed at the kids.
"Well, don't get too curious-y. Ever since that monster Gideon rolled into town, I've had nothing but trouble," Stan huffed, flipping his eyepatch up and hanging up his coat.
