The soft chime of my alarm clock woke me up just as the first rays of dawn filtered through the curtains. I stretched lazily, savoring the warmth of my bed for a few more moments before swinging my legs over the side and standing up. Today was going to be a busy day.

I shuffled into the kitchen, my mind still foggy with sleep. A quick breakfast of avocado toast and a cup of black coffee helped clear the cobwebs. I ate slowly, savoring the flavors while mentally going over the tasks ahead. Today, I would officially begin my university journey and look for a new place to live.

After freshening up and getting dressed in a chic yet casual outfit—a pair of high-waisted jeans, a simple white tee, and my favorite leather jacket—I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.

The drive from my apartment to university was two hours long.

The university campus was bustling with activity as I arrived. The sight of students hurrying to their classes and groups chatting animatedly filled me with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. I quickly made my way to the administration building to complete the necessary paperwork.

The process was surprisingly smooth. After signing a few documents and collecting my student ID, I felt a surge of satisfaction. I was officially a university student. As I stepped out of the administration building, I spotted Stella waiting for me. Her outfit, a stylish blend of casual and edgy, mirrored her personality perfectly. We exchanged excited hugs before heading out to look at potential apartments.

"I think we should look for something close to the campus," Stella suggested as we walked down the street.

"Agreed," I replied, scanning the surroundings. "It'll be convenient, especially on those days when we have early classes."

We spent the next few hours visiting various apartments. Some were too small, others too far from the university, and a few just didn't feel right. Just as we were starting to feel disheartened, we arrived at a luxurious penthouse near the university.

The moment we stepped inside, I knew this was the place. The spacious living room had floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a breathtaking view of the city. The modern, open-plan kitchen was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, and the bedrooms were both large and cozy. The penthouse even had a private terrace, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
The penthouse had two master bedrooms, four regular bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a foyer the size of my previous apartment. It also featured a pool, a lawn, and a gym. The master bedrooms offered a beautiful view of the city, with floor-to-ceiling windows that added a touch of luxury. In addition, we had a private parking area with a limit of ten cars, which was convenient since we would bring all our cars here..

"This is it," I said, turning to Stella. "This is the one."

She nodded, a grin spreading across her face. "I agree. It's perfect."

We quickly finalized the paperwork and made arrangements to move in. The thought of sharing this beautiful space with Stella made me even more excited about the upcoming year. We spent the rest of the day shopping for essentials and personal touches to make the penthouse feel like home.

As evening fell, we sat on the terrace, sipping wine and admiring the city lights. The day had been long and exhausting, but it had also been productive and fulfilling. I felt a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the adventures ahead.

“Here’s to new beginnings,” Stella said, raising her glass.

“To new beginnings,” I echoed, clinking my glass with hers. The wine tasted sweet and crisp, a perfect match for our celebratory mood. We sat back on the terrace, enjoying the warm evening breeze and the breathtaking view of the city lights twinkling below us.

“So,” Stella began, a mischievous glint in her eye, “how are we going to decorate this place? We have to make it uniquely ours.”

I smiled, excitement bubbling up at the thought. “I was thinking we could start with the living room. Maybe some plush, colorful rugs, a few statement pieces of furniture, and lots of plants to give it a fresh, vibrant feel.”

“Definitely,” Stella agreed, nodding. “And we need some art for the walls. Something bold and eye-catching.”

“Maybe we could commission some custom pieces,” I suggested. “Something that really reflects our personalities and style.”

“Ooh, I love that idea!” Stella said, her eyes lighting up. “We could even host a small housewarming party once we’ve got everything set up.”

“Absolutely,” I said, already imagining the fun we would have. “We could invite a few friends, show off our new place, and celebrate our new home properly.”

Stella leaned back, taking another sip of her wine. “You know, this place is going to be perfect for late-night talks, spontaneous dance parties, and maybe even a few midnight make-out sessions.”

I laughed, shaking my head. “Stella, you’re incorrigible.”

“What?” she said, feigning innocence. “I’m just saying, you never know what could happen. We’re young, fabulous, and living in this amazing penthouse.”

“True,” I said, smiling. “But let’s focus on making this place incredible first.”

“Deal,” Stella said with a grin. “So, the bedrooms. What are you thinking?”

“I want something luxurious and comfortable,” I said, picturing it in my mind. “Maybe a canopy bed, lots of soft pillows, and a reading nook by the window.”

“I love it,” Stella said. “And for my room, I’m thinking modern chic. Sleek furniture, maybe a few statement pieces, and definitely a big mirror.”

“Perfect,” I said, nodding. “And we can share the terrace. It’ll be our little oasis, with lots of plants and a cozy seating area.”

“Absolutely,” Stella agreed. “We’ll make it the best spot for morning coffee and late-night chats.”

We continued to discuss our plans for the apartment, tossing around ideas for different rooms and getting more excited with each passing minute. The penthouse felt like a blank canvas, just waiting for us to transform it into a reflection of our unique styles and personalities.

We decided to transform one of the regular rooms into a spacious walk-in closet, another into a stylish 'get ready' room, and a third into a cozy haven for our pets.

As the night wore on, we moved inside, sitting on the plush sofa we had just picked out earlier that day. The city lights cast a soft glow through the windows, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Stella and I continued our conversation, our laughter filling the room.

We spent the rest of the evening brainstorming and planning, each idea making us more excited for the future. By the time we finally called it a night, we had a clear vision of what our new home would look like.

As I lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, I felt a sense of contentment. The day had been long and busy, but it had also been incredibly rewarding. I had officially started my university journey, found a beautiful new place to live, and begun making it our own.

With a smile on my face and dreams of new beginnings filling my mind, I drifted off to sleep, ready for the adventures that awaited.
