𝟏𝟐. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝

As I entered the house, I felt something off.

I walked inside and the tension increased in the room.

I saw my mom sitting on the couch, her face was looking like she was tensed about something.

I entered the main hall and saw my dad sitting on the chair, his hands covering his head while his legs were shaking.

I got near to mom and put my hand on her shoulder, "mom" I said in a low voice.

She looked at me and then I noticed a small tear in the corner of her eyes.

"What happened?" I asked in a worry.

She didn't reply and just looked away.

I went to my dad and sat near him on the chair.

"Dad, what happened?" I asked, taking his hand in mine.

And he also looked at me and then looked away.

What have I done?

"Tell me what happened, please!" I asked but they didn't say a word.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked him but he shook his head in a 'no'.

Then I remembered that bhaiya called me so he would tell me what's happening here!

I walked near his room, and when I heard some noise.

They were arguing.

In 5 years of their marriage, this never happened then what is happening today?

I knocked on the door and after a few seconds bhabhi opened the door, looking at her, my heart started beating so fast.

She was crying.

I've never seen her crying.

Her beautiful eyes were totally red, she looked at me and then left the room, leaving me and Bhaiya alone.

I walked inside and saw him sitting on his bed.

"B-Bhaiya" I said and he looked at me.

A smile formed on his face as he realised it was me.

"Oh you are here!" He said happily.

What's going on here?

Everyone is sad for some reason and he's smiling.

"What happened?" I asked in a low voice.

"Um- nothing, they are just so over dramatic" he replied.

I looked at him in confusion.

"Don't stand there, come here!" He said.

I walked towards his bed and sat down.

"I'm going to give you some good news" he said, with a big smile.
