"Staying alive, staying alive"
I heard parts of a conversation between what seemed like Vlad and another guy who I guessed was a doctor of sorts.
"She's not waking up", "Needs more rest", "LEAVE NOW," was the last thing I heard before I decided I had had enough.
I pealed my eyes open and took in my surroundings. I was in a room that was like a white box, no windows, one door, one chair with a certain kitty in it, my bed, and a small night stand. "Hey," I managed to croke out. Charlie poked his head up then leaped onto my bed, and I could tell he was concerned about me.
"I'm fine just a little thirsty that's all," I said trying to get him to stop licking my hand. He looked at the night stand, there was a water bottle with some red liquid in it. I reached out and took it in my hand. I took a sip and instantly felt a million times better. "What is this?" I said, noticing my voice was no longer horse.
Charlie transformed into Vlad ,which I was both happy and sad about, and he put his pants on. "It's blood, my blood," he said, "In order to save you I had to turn you into a vampire." I was shocked.
How could I explain this to Madi? Where is Aaron? Does this mean I will wanna eat my friends?!?
"No you won't. You will stay with me until you learn to control your urges." he said.
I took a big gulp of blood. "I told you don't read my tho-," I was cut off by a strange surge of power. Suddenly I could hear the heart beat of every one in the building. I could smell the blood in the blood bank. I felt so light that I could fly.
"There they are. Your powers have surfaced," he said. I sipped the blood and then it hit me like a ton of bricks, my 'talent'. I stepped on to the ice cold floor and floated. I didn't know if it was actually a special talent but I've never seen a vampire sit Indian style in mid air and Vlad was seriously surprised.
I was gonna have fun with this. 😄
