After 5 months of dating, Grayson and I have broken up. At least online. We told people we're just staying friends. The only ones who know the truth are our closest friends and family. It took a lot of convincing to get my parents to not freak out and come get me from LA. The compromise was that my dad made me buy a taser as well.

Now I've got a pocket knife, pepper spray, and a taser on me at all times. Grayson and I don't kiss, hold hands, or go on dates in public. If we're seen together in public it's for an event I'm styling him for or we're with a big group of people. It's back to how it was when we first started dating and I tried to keep it a secret. The police still haven't found Daphne and we don't know her real name so this is far from over.

I just try to keep busy so I don't worry about it all. For example, I'm traveling to New York now to help a designer named Alexia get ready for Fashion Week. It's months away so we have time to create all the looks that our group is working on. Alexia is a close friend of Harper's so It'll be a great chance to rub elbows with a big name in the industry. The plane ride was pretty peaceful and I even got a window seat.

Grayson: You landed yet?
Robyn: Yep! I'm gonna take a taxi to my hotel soon.

Once I'm able to flag one down, I ride to the hotel the designer put me and the other assistants in. One of them is sick and is taking some time off to recover. I'll be replacing her temporarily.

When I'm checking in the hotel I think I see Daphne. Turns out it's just random lady with red hair. She's with a man and a little girl and they seem like a family. She even kisses the man with her. Definitely not Grayson's stalker.

I get my room key and quickly settle into my room. I have an hour before I need to be at the studio and I want to grab a sandwhich from the store in the lobby. I also want to have time to get some coffee and a snack.

The taxi guy is chill and lets me eat in backseat. I even have time to down my coffee before he pulls up to the studio. After I tip him, I dash inside. People are already working when I enter and I worry I've got the meeting time wrong.

"You must he Harper's girl." A woman says to me.

"Yes. I'm Robyn Harris." I remark. We shake hands and she gives me a tour of the place.

"Am I late?"

"Technically yes but I thought it would be easier if you got to see everything in action before starting today." Alexia explains. She finally shows me to my work station.

"You will be working with Amanda and César . They're helping create the Water looks featured at the end of my show. They will help you get settled and get you up to speed."

"Ok thanks."

The designer walks away and it's just the three of us.

"You'll be picking up Anastasia's work. She was already behind before she got sick so you should probably start working now." A man with a blonde fade and neck tattoos says. He's got carmel skin and an intense RBF.

"Ignore César. They can be a bit of an asshole. They're not wrong though, you're very behind on your dress. I'm Mandy by the way." The girl says. César just grunts.
