Bad terms

After a week of no new missions and just hanging out with Kugisaki and Itadori I think I might die.

"So what movie should we watch next?" Kugisaki says, sipping on her tea and scrolling through Netflix.

"The hunger games for sure!" Itadori pipes up as he walks into the room holding fresh popcorn.

"Didn't we just watch those movies yesterday...?" My eye twitches at him.

"Yeah but come on! Jennifer Lawrence!" He sets the popcorn down on the table and sits next to me, the couch caving as he plops down.

"What is your strange obsession with her?" Kugisaki continues scrolling through other TV streaming services.

Itadori sighs and looks up, "She is perfect!"

I roll my eyes, "let's do a horror movie. Hey Lullaby looks good put it on."

She clicks on the horror movie and I dish everyone an equal bowl of popcorn as it starts.

The movie has a great plot and the jump scares are top notch but halfway through I notice my popcorn is almost gone although I have only taken a couple handfuls.

I look over to Itadori's popcorn and it's all gone. As I am wondering where it went I see his hand slip into my bowl and take a piece.

An idea pops into my head and I grab the plant on the table right next to me.

The next time he reaches for some I put a flower in his hand instead.

He spits out the flower, "EGH! THIS POPCORN IS GROSS!" He wipes his tounge trying to get the taste out of his mouth.

"Itadori stop being an idiot it's fine!" Kugisaki says, pausing the movie.

I turn away to hide a smile as Gojo walks in the room.

"Eyyyyy what are we watching?" He leans on the wall and crosses his arms with a smug look on his face.

Kugisaki says, "New horror movie it's called 'Lullaby'....." she says in a creepy tone, waving a witch finger at him.

"Sounds good may I join?" He strides towards the couch.

My eyes narrow as I speak "You would ruin the experience by saying you could survive this you could survive that."

Gojo throws a dramatic hand over his heart "I am so hurt you think that about me! Anyways that's not what I came here for. You three have a mission."

His tone shifts to a more serious note. "Higher ups confirmed it is a grade 1 maybe even special grade cursed spirit"

My face contorts into something of annoyance. "What the hell? That's a mission you would be sent on why are they sending us?"

Itadori's face gets colder as he connects the dots.

Gojo looks at Itadori with a knowing look. "The higher ups are pussies and they think Itadori being the vessel for Sukuna is dangerous."

My eyes widen as I realize what he is saying.

"They are likely sending you all on this mission hoping he doesn't make it out the other side."

Silence

Itadori pipes up cheerfully, "Don't worry sensei! Fushi, Kugisaki and I will definitely defeat the curse!"

Gojo smiles cockily. "Heyyyyy that's the spirit kid! Now you three better get going."

"Always with the suicide missions." Kugisaki spits out as she gets up from the couch. "Let's go wouldn't want to keep the curse waiting."

"Let's kick some curse butt!!" Kugisaki and Itadori high five as they cheerfully skip out the door.
