You were spending another long night at the GPD with your partner. Jim, you two have been trying to track down one of the insane people that escaped out of Arkham asylum. You weren't allowed to know much about them, which kind of didn't really help you anywhere. But Jim insisted that you didn't know much about the guy. All you knew was his name was Jerome and he was a sociopath that killed his mother and ended up in Arkham. That's all he would tell you and you tried hard to find him. Hence you've been working late a lot

Gym: you know one of these days you might have to go home and sleep right

You: I know that but I am not going to go home until I find Jerome and put him back in Arkham.

Gym: you always try your best to work hard. Maybe you should go home and take some rest

You: yeah you might be right. I might go-

You were caught off mid-sentence when all the sudden gunshots were heard at the entrance of the GPD station. Jim quickly drew his gun and followed the gunshots you carefully followed behind him. Once you got to the entrance of the station you saw a bunch of people in a gunfight, one stood out to you with his Ginger hair. Jim noticed him too and based on the look he gave towards him, you instantly knew that that Ginger hair boy was the boy that you were looking for. Jerome, Jim started to fire his gun trying to help out and Jerome noticed him and shot back at him shooting him in the arm. You quickly grabbed Jim's gun after it fell out of his hand and shot at him, you hitting him in his hip area just grazing his side. He was impressed that you were able to do that cuz no one was ever able to shoot him and when you two made eye contact you had a shiver go down your spine. Not of you being scared but of you feeling intrigued. You noticed the heat rising to your face. You quickly turned away and ran as fast as you could, knowing that he might end up chasing after you. You decided not to look behind you as it would slow you down as you ran all the way to an empty room and hid under a desk. You hear footsteps come into the room and you knew it was him. You tried holding your breath as best as you could so he wouldn't be able to find you.

Jerome: Come out dollface. I want to give you a proper greeting

You did your best to not respond and hold still so he wouldn't find you under the desk you are underneath, but sadly he ended up finding you and grabbing you, throwing you against a wall and pinning you there.

Jerome: Hello, it's nice to see you dollface. I must say you had a pretty amazing shot back there. Too bad now that I caught you I'm going to have to punish you.

You didn't even tremble in fear. You've been through this multiple times with your family. They were pretty abusive and you never really noticed until you got older. So him doing whatever he might do didn't really startle you at all. When he noticed that he didn't have an effect on you, he got mad and knocked you out taking you with him to wherever he was going.
