A LOVE LETTER IS HARMLESS ENOUGH. Right? As long as it's never sent out, there's no harm in writing down your feelings. Matter of fact, it might do you some good. Anyone who's suffered a broken heart knows that in the moment, little else feels worse, so being able to vent on a piece of paper, to let your words be carried by the ink—that's a good thing. A good thing. A good thing until the letters are sent out.

The small town known as Rosewood Glen, or Rosewood for short, situated in the state of Virginia, is known for two things: being a large exporter of roses, and for its noteworthy highschool, recognised by surrounding towns. What gives the town part of its fame is the aptitude of its young folk, who happen to excel at sports and the arts on a regional and even state level, with a few of its alumni making it big nationally. The town is a hidden sanctuary, not yet flooded by tourism, with a prominent 'retro' atmosphere, from its diners, drive-in theatres and thrift shops to the fact that everyone knows one another and a milkman still comes by houses.
