MISA AND HER FATHER reached home. It was still the same after six months. She was only here during the holidays. Her luggage was taken by the maids. Misa didn't waste any time and followed her father.

They reached his study, the room which was always locked with no key in sight. Her father reached into his pockets, a scanner. He placed the scanner onto the door. It automatically opened.

So that's how....

She followed him inside and took a seat. There were bookshelves. Papers and files littered on the floor and desk. A notepad and pens with and without ink. "What's this?" She asked.

"You're going to be 16, it's time you know" He took a deep breath. "The Shibuya incident. Shibuya was being terrorised by a group of terrorists called the Jewel clan. Endeavour and I were put on the mission." He explained.

"There, on the ground, next to a dying corpse, I found you. An infant crying out for help. I picked you up, but I couldn't. When I touched you, I felt a burning sensation. So I wrapped you in fabric and brought you to the healers. That's when I decided to adopt you" He stated.

"After you were kidnapped and saved. I read through the journal. I found out you were related to the Jewel clan, a future soldier? The daughter of a soldier? I didn't know. All I knew was that I had to keep you safe. That's why I put you into a boarding school far from here"

Misa didn't shed a tear. Her mother, her actual mother was dead but she didn't care. "So, that's all? You want me to help you find everything out?" She raised an eyebrow.

Her father shook his head. "No. I had you examined and found out that you weee being injected with fluids when you were a baby. You were to be a soldier, a deadly one at that. They were preparing you to fight as their knight." Her father added.

"I had unknown fluids inside of me and you kept it a secret from me?" Misa raised an eyebrow. "There's no time to pout about it" He stated. "You're going to be helping me out with this. After school, you're going to be helping me investigate" He pushed forward a file.

"How about you go rest?" Her father suggested. "No, I have 7 months to train for the entrance exam." She stated. "I'll go start" Her father nodded in approval.
