And with that the hunter exam had started

Sakura was running along side gon when she got an idea that'll help her get to the front

"Hey gon, you'll be fine without me right?" Sakura asked as she turned her head to look at gon

"Yeah, why?" He answered while turning to look at her "I'm going to head up to the front just so I don't fall back"

"Alright! Be safe and don't waste your energy too much!" He said as she ran off to the front

Sakura ran until she was out of gons view since she knows he'd be asking her questions if he saw what she was doing. She ran to the side of the room next to a wall and focused her Chakra in her feet and ran up the wall and jumped on one of the pipes to avoid crowds and to be able to run faster.

As she ran she did gain some people's attention one being the pin head and clown

As she ran she could feel their gaze on her and chills went up her spine

'It's just like how I felt when I first encountered sasori' she thought

(idk if she actually did or not but let's just roll with it for now)

When sakura got near the front she jumped down and she was near the front, she wasn't very tired and was getting a bit bored until she saw gon and a white haired boy run past her

'Looks like gon made a new friend, he truly is like Naruto' she thought while laughing to herself and sped up to catch up to them a bit

She accidentally ended up surpassing the examiner without noticing just trying to catch up to the two and by the time she noticed it she saw the exit but didn't see gon or his new friend realizing she went too fast and passed them

So while she was waiting for them she went to a near by tree and meditated for a while until she felt someone poking her cheek

"Sakura, Sakura? Sakura!"

When she opened her eyes she saw gon poking her cheek while calling her name, with the white hair by just staring her with a bored expression

"Gon? When did you get here?" She asked in confusion
"6 and a half minutes ago, I thought you were asleep when I found you, but it didn't seem like you were, but no matter how much I tried to wake you up you wouldn't wake up!" He replied

"Well I'm awake now aren't I? Anyway whose your new friend?" She asked gon

"This is Killua! I met him during the test a couple minutes after you went up ahead!" He said in a happy tone

"Its good to hear that you're making new friends" she said

"OH! I forgot to introduce you to him! Killua, this is Sakura! Shes a friend that I met on my way to the exam" he exclaimed while Sakura just waved with a smile and killua waved back with the same bored expression

They turned their heads when they heard something closing as the three stood up and went over to find kurapika and leorio

When they found them the two were sweating and out of breath

"Well you two sure ran fast!" Gon said in a happy tone to the two tired guys while Sakura grabbed two towels out of her bag and handed them to the guys

"When did you guys even get here!" Leorio exclaimed in a shocked tone while taking one of the towels from Sakura

"What do you mean? Sakura, me, and killua arrived first! Also, Sakura! When you ran off I hear some metal clincking, was that you?" Gon question while he turned his head to look at Sakura

"No it wasnt" she said, 'I'm sorry gon! But I have to keep some of my abilities hidden from you!' She thought while killua just stared at her knowing she was lying

Gon on the other hand didn't know she was lying

"Oh, alright! If you say so!" Gon replied with a thumbs up

'I swear someday his kindness will be the death of him' her and killua thought with thier eyes closed and sweat dropped

When sakura opened her eyes and looked around she noticed someone staring at her while the examiner was talking before her train of thoughts were interrupted by someone's shouting

"Don't listen to him! He's not the real examiner! I am!" The man shouted

"May I ask a quick question Mr. Satotz?" Sakura asked
"If you have to" He replied

"Alright then, if you're to encounter a ninja what shall you do?" She asked
"to run or fight back, preferably run if you are not strong enough to fight back"

"I see" she said to herself as she turned to the person claiming to be the examiner "now you,if you're to encounter a ninja what shall you do?" She asked while her tone slightly changed to that of an annoyed one knowing there was no point in doing this and she knew satorz was the real examiner, but the others weren't so sure so she had to prove that satotz was the real examiner

"Uhh... to fight for your life" the fake examiner replied hesitantly as he looked away but when he looked back, Sakura fist was already near his face and his face turned pale before he was punch and went flying in the direction he was punched

"That settles it then, satotz is the real examiner" she exclaimed happily while turning to the rest of  the group and she got nervous when she saw them staring at her
'Did I over do it?' She thought while making an embarrassed face before she forced a smile

"This proves satotz is the real examiner because examiners are hunters and you should never pick a fight with someone you know is stronger than you, the fake was obviously a fake because he chose to fight for his life, which honorable but incredibly stupid, everyone knows ninjas are incredibly skilled and very difficult the deafete depending on their rank, still even some of the lowest ranks can be hard to defeat if you're not strong enough, and what he chose showed that he's inexperienced, satotz gave the answer of fighting and running which are probably the first two options that should come into your head whenever deciding in a life or death situation, showing that's he's more experienced" Sakura explained with a neutral tone before walking back to her group

"As she said, he was a fake, those who fell for it are very foolish, now let's get going shall we?" Satotz said before walking into the swamp.
