Sarah and Zack were deep in discussion, surrounded by piles of ancient texts, when a sudden gust of wind swept through the library. The room grew colder, and the lights flickered. Sarah looked up, startled, just in time to see a figure materialize out of thin air.

"Ian?" Sarah exclaimed, recognizing the tall, dark-haired young man who stood before them.

Ian Arden, a member of one of Draminia's most powerful families, known for his aloof demeanor and mysterious comings and goings. His sudden appearance in the library was unexpected.

"Ian, what are you doing here?" Zack asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and wariness.

Ian's eyes locked onto Sarah's, and he took a step closer. "I'm here to find a book," he said cryptically, his voice low and confident. He smirked, a hint of amusement in his expression.

Sarah exchanged a worried glance with Zack before addressing Ian. "What is it, Ian? What's so urgent?"

Ian hesitated for a moment, then spoke with a sense of urgency. "I know about your powers, Sarah. And I know you're in danger. My family has been keeping an eye on the Endersons for generations. When I learned about your ability to manipulate time, I knew I had to find you."

Sarah felt a chill run down her spine. "How did you find out?"

Ian glanced around the library, ensuring they were alone before continuing. "There are records in my family's archives. They detail the abilities of the powerful families in Draminia, including yours. When you started showing signs of your power, it triggered an alert. I came as soon as I could."

Zack stepped forward, his expression skeptical. "And what do you plan to do now that you've found her?"

Ian's gaze remained steady. "I want to help. The power you possess is extraordinary, but it's also dangerous. There are people who would do anything to control it. My family has resources and knowledge that could protect you, Sarah."

Sarah felt torn. She barely knew Ian, but his offer of help was tempting. She turned to Zack, seeking his input.

Zack's brow furrowed in thought. "Ian might have a point. If there are people out there who know about your power, you need all the help you can get. But we can't trust him blindly."

Ian nodded in agreement. "I understand your hesitation. But time is running out. The more people learn about Sarah's abilities, the more dangerous it becomes. We need to work together."

Sarah took a deep breath, weighing her options. Finally, she spoke. "Alright, Ian. We'll accept your help, but we do this on our terms. We need to uncover the truth about my powers and figure out how to control them."

Ian smiled, relief evident in his eyes. "Thank you, Sarah. I promise, I'll do everything I can to protect you."

As they continued to search through the ancient texts, now with Ian's assistance, they uncovered more details about the Enderson family's legacy. Each discovery brought them closer to understanding the full extent of Sarah's abilities and the history that had been hidden for so long.

With Ian's teleportation abilities, they could travel quickly and access places that were previously out of reach. His knowledge of the Arden family's archives also proved invaluable. Together, they formed a formidable team, united by a common goal.

As the night wore on, Sarah felt a sense of hope she hadn't experienced in a long time. With Zack's unwavering support and Ian's unexpected alliance, she began to believe that they could uncover the truth and protect her legacy from those who sought to exploit it.

The journey ahead would be fraught with challenges and dangers, but for the first time, Sarah felt that she wasn't facing it alone. And with her friends by her side, she was ready to confront whatever lay ahead.
