As they walked towards the next stage Seishin punched Moeru across the face as he felt his cheek and looked at Seishin angered.
Moeru:The fuck was that for?
Seishin:For sabotaging me multiple times.
The examiner simply looked at their interaction as he smiled and stood up.
Examiner:This portion of the exam is going to be a challenge section where you will have to navigate through the maze and make it back within the time limit of 48 hours. There will be rest stations but there will also be Terano chasing you all down.
Tamashi:Quick question what's a Terano?
Examiner:The descendants of the beasts that roamed the planet a millenia ago. They possess high levels of chi and are separated into Rank 5, Rank 4, Rank 3, Rank 2, Rank 1 and Mythical. The Rank 5 ones are more timid and can be kept as pets but Rank 3 and beyond are incredibly dangerous and if tamed are huge assets. You will be running into Rank 4-2 Terano in this test.
Tamashi:Gotcha.
The contestants murmed to themselves as the examiner once again broke the silence.
Examiner:Finally you will be broken into teams of 3 based on a random generator. We based this off interactions and who would pair the worst with eachother based on their data. Lets see the results.
Seishin:I hope I get paired with Tamashi and Saikyo they're my only actual friends here.
Moeru:I don't care who I'm paired with as long as its not with that roughian Seishin.
Examiner:Team 1:Seishin Sekigan, Moeru Hono and Chisi Expyno.
Seishin and Moeru both looked gutted as they slowly turned to each other and cursed in their heads.
Seishin/Meoru:WHY DID I GET PAIRED UP WITH THIS GUY!
Saikyo and Tamashi peered over to Seishin and started to mock laugh him as veins popped on his forehead.
Examiner:Team 2:Saikyo Tenjo, Casanova Kirisuto and Denki Astrapi.
Saikyo:I'll take that.
Casanova:So the strongest one here? Nice. Praise be to God but who's that Astrapi guy?
Examiner:Team 3:Tamashi Kage, Hakka Hono and Hyoketsu Cryo.
Tamashi:I'm getting paired with people I've never met.
Seishin:Maybe they'll be good.
Examiner:Team 4:Shogeki Astrapi, Kai Tenka and Akio Kurai.
Saikyo:Wonder who they are?
Casanova:They could be a possible threat.
Tamashi:Right I would say we should stay wary. What do you think Seishin?
Moeru and Seishin were arguing as Tamashi faced them. He slapped his face and simply muttered.
Tamashi:Nevermind.
The Examiner finished calling out the teams and ordered them to go to section that correlated their team number.
As Moeru and Seishin walked their while mean mugging each other a boy with brown hair, brown eyes and a black tee walked up to them holding a backpack.
