The Chaos Ring flew, decapitating a few agents as Danny ran through their numbers, practically bodily bulldozing them with his size alone. He had spent the last fucking 2 weeks in the wood of the Amazon forest tracking down these bitches. No one will leave this forest intact and breathing.

He missed Elsa's figure skating competition because of these pieces of shits.

Also, he had to push back the wedding so that he can really settle his personal war before settling down with his one and only love, (try) making babies with her, and starting a whole nest of mini him and mini her before ending it all on a retirement vacation around the world.

He hissed when a missile almost hit him in the face.

Right.

War. Need to focus.

"Phantom!"

He snarled, "Not now, Red!"

Right. Valerie somehow discovered this nest of idiots too and decided to join him. She didn't kill anyone though and tried to make him stop a few times. Like he will let her. He flew away from her so that he won't be tempted to take her down too.

One brain dead agent somehow managed to break part of the building's foundation and that would have flattened him since it was made out of anti-ghost material. Good thing he never slacked in his free running and flying in the Ghost Zone. At least ectoranium was too rare to be used for anything this big. They will have to contact NASA to go out and find them on the asteroid belt...if they were lucky they might find enough to build a something bigger than a butter knife.

Who the hell waste material to make a butter knife from ectoranium?

The fucker who founded Ghost Investigation Ward, that's who.

Well, he'll be cremated with his precious butter knife in his cranium after Danny finished with his destruction of this place.

One more building exploded with unstable synthetic ectoplasm, the ground collapsing as the basement imploded.

"My God,"

Danny ignored her as he flew after the runaways, hunting them as they ran through the forest to get away from him. He grabbed his crown as it flew back towards him, returning it to its placement behind his head like a twisted halo. She knew his modus operandi after she started tracking after him. She knew that he no longer cared about the image of a hero. If being a hero meant letting innocents die because he couldn't end the villain when they should, then he'd rather be the bigger villain.

The destruction she saw around her, it was to erase their progress. Flickering white flames, ghostly and almost invisible, burned through everything like a hungry beast. He can hear pained screaming as he bulldozed through more structures, bursting through the mechanical armors that was designed after his parent's exoskeleton like a hammer through crab shells. He had long learned to ignore the pain of being in contact with anti-ghost materials. It still hurt but not if he grit his jaw and ignore his screaming nerves. He had a lot of training with ignoring pain, after all.

Still, he'll be a mess after this.

He can only hope that Elsa will find him as his memento mori washed over him. She was a balm, a harbor in the storm of his death echo. Anchoring him so he won't be lost and be like most lower ghost who couldn't get past the moments before everything change.

"Phantom!"

Danny cursed, veering away from the shots coming from her, "What?!"

Valerie frowned, "Stop this! You've done enough!"

He sneered, "Oh, Red. You don't get it do you? They won't stop. Not unless I erase them completely,"

Valerie argued, "You should leave them to justice!"

He recalled the amount of dirt he gathered from all the politicians in charge of the judicial system before growling, "Don't make me laugh. Unlike you and your 'justice', Red, I hunt them for a good reason. At the very least, I did not bring about the end of the world just because I hate a few humans,"

She flinched, recalling her time where she was completely blind to hate, "This is different and you know it,"

He quirked a brow before flaring all six wings wide open. All around him, sword-like feathers began to form. Knowing what was coming, she shot at him in a futile attempt to stop the coming genocide. His 'halo' formed a shield before him. He tilted his head and said, "Yes. It's different. And the difference is...ghosts are formed by a single moment of extreme trauma that they are unable to break away from or cease existing. Humans...don't have that excuse. Ghosts don't pretend that they are being saviors or messiahs. Not unless that was the reason they formed at all. Humans, on the other hand, liked putting themselves on the pedestal of supreme goodness while trampling on all others simply because...they are different. I...am the reflection of that twisted arrogance,"

Valerie screamed as he shot down volleys of 'blades', exploding upon contact with whatever it was below them. Furious by the heartless destruction without discrimination, she turned to him and unloaded her bullets. Danny simply used the shield before him to take the abuse. He then appeared before her and broke her gun. Hysterical, she started lashing out at him and Danny grabbed her fist before throwing her down.

Her special grade armor was the only reason she was still breathing.

He stood over her and smiled, "Red...if you are against me, then you are my enemy. So you only have yourself to blame," He reached down and Valerie watched helplessly, her lungs still trying to pull in air from the violent knockout, as his hand turned intangible. She watched with tears in her eyes as he touched her spine. Danny smiled, "I can't leave loose threads,"

Valerie screamed as he started to mess with her nerves...

...

Danny dropped her at the nearest hospital, carelessly dropping her in the bush where she will be found in the morning whenever someone passed by the corner of the hospital's garden. Valerie remained unresponsive after his 'treatment' on her nerves and cerebrum. Practically turning her into a vegetable. Satisfied that the one person that could ruin what he have with Elsa dealt with, he left the silently crying woman behind.

He didn't think on the impact of his actions much.

Danny Fenton might feel sick but Dante Khaos don't.

He will do anything, go to any length, to destroy his enemies thoroughly and keep his most important treasures safe.

Even war crimes...

By the time he reached home, he stripped down and stepped under the shower. He already sent a message to Elsa, an emoticon that she knew he designated as one that he will ever use for when his memento mori will start messing with his mind.

Now that he's safe, his mental walls crashed down and he felt his death echo washed over him, blocking everything else out...

He only came around when he was lying on Elsa's lap...

He sighed, "I love you,"

His Angel of Salvation...

"I love you too,"
