After their wedding on the beach, with the ocean waves witness they had planned for a reception with their close friends and family at a venue they had rented. The sun went down, and now it was the stars adorning the sky, the moon was bright.
The venue had three parts, a dining area, a dance floor and a small room with a video camera as a guestbook.
Inside the dining area, Jungkook and Aera stood in front to face the small crowd that had gathered there to celebrate their special day. Aera was wearing a dark blue evening dress, which shined under the light. It was as if she was the embodiment of the glimmering night sky.
Jungkook was dressed in a navy blue suit to match his wife. His mullet hair, with strands of hair falling on his forehead. Saying the couple stopped the show would be an understatement. They looked stunning. Perfectly and seamlessly complimenting each other.
The dining hall had three long tables, and a row of flower vases with pastel flowers adorned the table. On each seat was a handwritten message for the guest, from the couple, made just for them with their pic. The hall was grand, a chandelier hung from the ceiling illuminating the hall, every corner was decorated beautifully with flowers and fairy lights.
The couple sat facing the long tables, along with their parents. It was dinner time, the time when they shared stories. Aera's mother raised her glass and clinked it with a spoon to get the crowd's attention. She held a mic.
"Congratulations Jungkook and Aera. I don't have to welcome him to the family since he has always been a part of our family just like Aera has been a part of Jeon family," she chuckled and gained nods of acceptance from Aera's dad and Jungkook's parents.
"I remember we used to joke that one day these two would get married. I can't be any more glad that they did end up getting married. Eun-Ae and I've been best friends for a very long time now, and today we are the happiest to see our children marrying each other. I remember the day they told us they were dating, three years back- one of the happiest days of my life. Jungkook, my child, you are the perfect guy for Aera and no one can be more perfect than you,"
"I agree," Aera cut in, making everyone laugh.
Jungkook took Aera's hand in his own smiling at her.
"Of course you do. Marriage comes with ups and downs and I am sure you guys will together fight against all the odds. May God shower you guys with happiness and health. Let's raise a toast for the new couple here," she said raising her wine glass.
Jungkook's father took the Mic from Aera's mother and stood up, "Congratulations kids, finally you guys are married. Took you guys long enough,"
"I know right, uncle?" Jin spoke up, and everyone broke into a fit of laughter, again.
"Aera, I've always wanted a daughter like you, and at some point, I started seeing you as my daughter and today you are legally my daughter. I trust Jungkook to treat you right just like I trust you to treat him right. Jungkook, she better gets Queen's treatment, else you'll have to face the wrath of two fathers," Mr Jeon joked, well aware he was successful in raising a gentleman.
