"How does the modern-day structures as
skyscrapers coincide with the filipino
architecture, I mean what is basis of filipino
architecture which we could see a distinct
character in a building that could consider
it as an example of filipino architecture?"
He scratched his eyebrows before answering
with his still bored voice. "I would like to say
that the bahay kubo is the basis of some of buildings here in the Philippines. One of characteristics of the bahay kubo is that it
was designed with heat, humidity and floods
in mind. As well all know that they are built
from the ground with stilts in order to withstand these conditions that are frequent here in the philippines."

I have to admit that the answer he got from
me changed a lot and it seemed like he really intended to change it, and I was amazed at it, bwesit. Pero hindi ko parin nagustohan ang
