Slipping through the front door of the trailer had become a skill Lana had almost mastered, if she didn't disturb her mom she could have a peaceful evening, as peaceful as possible anyway. The lounge was clear and the house was silent, no doubt the $20 she handed over this morning was being smoked, snorted or shot up right now in a gutter somewhere. Lana threw together some dinner and headed to the safety of her bedroom. Once inside she set her plate down and got to work hiding her tips, some under the loose section of crappy Lino flooring, some in the lampshade, some in her box of tampons and some behind the heater. Her phone beeped  and the sudden loud noise sent her adrenaline levels skyrocketing, trying to calm herself she took a breath as she fished her cell out of her backpack. Her heart skipped a beat as she read the display '1 new message from: Filip'

'Evenin Lana, just checkin ur home ok?'

This can't be legit? She asked her empty bedroom. A guy checking in on her? This had to be some kind of prank, a guy as gorgeous as Filip, suddenly into her, kissing her, making sure she got home after work? Trying to play it cool she texted back

'Hey! All good thanks :)'

Message sent. Instant regret hit her, she facepalmed. 'All good thanks' who did she think she was texting? A neighbour or a coworker or some shit? And the smiley face, he definitely only saw her as a kid now. Frantically typing a new message, second-guessing herself and deleting it she locked her phone and flopped back on the bed. Well done Lana you stupid bitch, you fucked it.

Taking a swig of beer from the bottle he'd grabbed to steady his nerves he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. His heart stopped. Damn that was quick, maybe too quick, was probably some club shit, not her. He pulled his phone out and glanced at the display '1 new message: Lana'

'Hey! All good thanks :)'

'Shite' he groaned. Bobby's head shot up, 'oh shit what now?' Chib's looked up wide-eyed not realising his reaction to Lana's text had been out loud. 'Ahh nothin, it ain't club stuff, it's Fiona' he bluffed. 'Everything all right man?' Bobby asked curiously, sensing the lie a mile off. 'Aye yea it's fine, just an update on kerrianne, it's nothin' he bullshitted as he grabbed his beer and headed outside. 'Uh huh' Bobby grunted, making it clear he didn't a believe out of the Scot's mouth, Chib's was too distracted to notice.

'All good thanks' well shit that was 'I'm totally uninterested' if he'd ever heard it, why the fuck did he kiss her today, that was so dumb. He probably scared her off, some desperate, creepy old man tryna lay it on her. The smiley face, that was definitely 'just friends' bullshit. That's the last time I listen to Juice and Tig he told himself as he flicked his phone shut and downed his drink. 'Hey Amber, c'mere' he called across the lot where the crow-eater was chatting to a couple of wannabe sons. She strut over to him without question, her blonde hair bounced as she walked, her black denim shorts barely covered her ass, her corset style top showed off her tits, and her long fishnet covered, tanned legs sped up as she got closer to him 'what's up chibby?' She giggled. 'I'll take you up on tha offer, c'mon' he spoke as he wrapped his arm round her shoulder and guided her inside to his room at the clubhouse.

Once inside his room he sat down on his bed and she climbed on his lap. 'I knew you were playing hard to get' she cackled in his ear, her scratchy straw-like blonde hair grazed his cheeks, her long, fake hot-pink nails grabbed at his kutte like claws, she smelt like bikers, cheap perfume and warm beer. As she kissed his neck he sat there, like a spectator rather than a participant, she grabbed his hands and pulled them up to her waist, clearly irritated by his lack of action. She moved her attention to his belt buckle and began to kiss his lips hard, trying to ram her tongue in his mouth. It felt wrong. Her layers of makeup felt dirty against his skin, her stupid claws against his clothing irritated him, her desperate attempt at physical affection repulsed him, her scent made him heave. He pulled back from her kiss 'get off me' he ordered softly. 'What the fuck chibs, you brought me in here?'
'I said get off me' he repeated loudly.
'What the fuck is wrong with you?' She whined, 'bringing me in here, then telling me to fuck off? What you don't wanna fuck me, fine, pull your dick out and I'll suck it instead then' she blabbered as she climbed off him and onto the floor in between his legs.
'Get out' he shouted in disgust.
'Ugh fuck you' she shouted as she ran out of his room, slamming the door.
What the fuck is wrong with me? He thought. One kiss from a girl who's not even interested and suddenly I'm pussy-whipped? He lay back on his bed and ran his hands over his face. The second darkness fell over his eyes all he could see was Lana.
Her flushed pink cheeks when she was embarrassed, her bright blue eyes, long dark soft hair that felt so delicate in his hands, her adorable giggle, the way she smelt like an enticing mix of sweet vanilla, cherry and bubblegum. Her freckles that scattered across her nose and cheeks like little stars, how tiny her waist felt when he pulled her close to him, her subtle New Jersey accent, the way she said his name, that's all he wanted to hear, Lana screaming his name in ecstasy as he had his way with her. A loud knock on his door pulled him from his dirty thoughts 'Chibs c'mon man, fucking mayans torched the warehouse' called Jax. 'Mother of Christ' he sighed as he pulled himself up off the bed.

Lana had checked her phone for what must have been the hundredth time that evening with no luck, radio silence. She turned her attention back to the sketch pad in front of her, her attempts to sketch Filip from memory were not going well, she pulled the page out, screwed it up then and launched it towards the trashcan. Attempting his bike instead was just as much of a failure. She grabbed her phone again and started typing:
'Hey Filip, sorry I was kinda busy earlier, I'm home safe but lonely ;)' eww no too desperate. 'I'm home but just about, how about next time I take you up on that ride? ;)' Jesus that's even worse, she thought.
She deleted all attempts, launched her phone across the room and the sketch pad along with it. She slid open her window and lit up a cigarette, she'd need more than nicotine to get to sleep tonight. She flicked the cigarette out of the window and headed towards her bedroom door. She leaned up against it listening and waiting, she heard nothing and decided it was safe so she made her way to the kitchen. Searching through the cabinets she found a half empty bottle of vodka hidden behind some out of date cereal, that'll have to do she thought as she headed back to her bedroom.
