Where Jungkook and Taehyung are academic rivals but a series of missing student reports and haunting monsters force them to work together. Though they still refuse to show camaraderie, atleast they are able to work efficiently. Through such hard times, maybe the brat Taehyung thought Jungkook was, wasn't what he was. Seeing Jungkook's experience and wisdom on the battlefield and the maturity he showed when needed stirred Taehyung- and in a way it shouldn't. And maybe past feelings and sense of duty creeping up inside Jungkook's heart werent the only reason why he wanted to protect Taehyung. And maybe this strong sense of duty from Jungkook comes not of a noble heart but guilt of a dark past. Maybe the monsters and these attacks were more closely linked to him than anyone could fathom.
