Taehyung genuinely understood why people never liked Jungkook. Sure he was good looking but the boy was a total ruffian, a desperado to boot. Smoking as a minor, getting into needless fights and barely hanging onto his grades. Now while Taehyung was no genius himself, he was indeed an above average student, and he bothered to put in the effort to study. Jungkook seemed to care less. As if the fucks to be given were not written in his stars. Whatever the case was, Jungkook was the subject of their judgement and borderline hatred. Huddling together with his friends after every tutoring session to bitch about Jungkook seemed to be his only salvation. But maybe Taehyung had another reason to hate Jumgkook.
