Ch 10

Back in Fairy World, Nacey and Jorgen were watching these events from afar.

The toughest fairy in the universe reminded her gruffly, "You better be right on this."

The magical being could only stare at Jorgen coldly. She walked over to him, standing right in front of him.

She snapped, "You really want to question me right now?"

Jorgen regretted his words almost instantly. "You know...you haven't been yourself since you saw your brother."

Nacey looked into his eyes at the moment. She was shaking a bit. That wasn't like her.

Nacey eventually apologized, "I'm sorry Jorgen. Y - you are right, I have been the same since I saw Neo. You know I'm just tempted to go after him but..." She paused for a moment, trying not to cry. She had looked down. She added, "Leaving evil is something Neo has to do on his own. But to totally ignore me like that..."

Jorgen placed his hand on her shoulder, making her look at him again.

Jorgen told her, "Hey you have every reason to be upset. You and your brother were close once. But like you said, he has to learn on his own. He'll figure out his own mistakes. ...just like I have."

Nacey stepped back, "I still haven't forgiven you for that."

Jorgen pointed out, "And for good reason. Showing Turner that cruddy timeline wasn't my best decision."

Nacey hissed, "I would tread very lightly if I were you. You and Tooth Fairy got a divorce from that terrible decision."

Jorgen admitted, "That was just part of the reason, Nance..." Seeing that the magical being was glaring at him, he quickly added, "Uh Nacey."

She told the toughest fairy in the universe, "Better. Cause unlike the Tooth Fairy, I still can kick your butt. So watch it around me."

Jorgen just nodded, not wanting to make her madder.

At Remy's mansion, Remy and Chloe were talking about recent events.

Remy stated, "You know, I wouldn't put it past Chad and Tad to have burned down Trixie's mansion."

Chloe shook her head, "Those two hardly know how to spell arson, let alone commit it."

Remy grimaced, "Good point."

Chloe raised a brow, "But that isn't the reason you asked me to come, is it?"

The rich teen confirmed, "Quite right. I believe I know why Chad, Tad, and Veronica have been buttholes lately. There is a new girl coming to Dimmsdale Elementary. Rumor has it that she's just as rich as she is popular."

The girl asked, "So what? I don't get the drama. Maybe that's why I don't care to be popular."

Remy explained, "That's fair. But she's also very stuck up. Her dad is a big business tycoon and her mom is his partner. She's got two older siblings."

Chloe perked up, "Wait are you talking about Ashley Mavis?"

Remy confirmed, "The one and the same."

Chloe whispered, "If she's coming and takes over the school, it is going to be very long last year."

Remy replied, "Might be worse if she goes to the same high school we are."

Chloe grimaced. Remy couldn't explain it but he wished that he could do something about it. But he felt that, once upon a time, he could.

Juandissimo was watching this from afar, in Fairy World. Turbo Thunder and Cassie were with him. They were making sure that Remy was becoming stable enough for a fairy godparent again. So far, so good.

Turbo stated, "I think you can go back to Remy soon."

Juandissimo replied, "Si I believe you are right. But I don't think Jorgen would agree."

Cassie told him, "That might be true but you don't have to go alone."

Juandissimo smiled a bit. He would like to return to Earth, to Remy, and away from Jorgen for a bit. He and Cassie poofed to Earth, hand in hand. Turbo watched them go. He hoped that Nacey was right about this.

Back in Dimmsdale, Ashley Mavis was trying to help her folks trying to pick out a house perfect for them. She was fourteen years old, long red hair, brown eyes with freckles, wearing a red tank top, white hip huggers, and white sneakers. Her brother and sister were barely paying attention, both playing games on their phones. Her brother was sixteen years old, short red, brown eyes with barely any freckles, wearing a blue polo shirt, brown pants, and black shoes. Her sister was fifteen years old, braided long red hair, brown eyes with a lot of freckles, wearing a purple sundress, white stockings, and white sandals.

Leonard was in his middle forties, short red hair, brown eyes with freckles, wearing a gray business suit, a button with their company logo on his right side, and gray shoes. Alison was in her middle forties, long red hair, brown eyes with a lot of freckles, wearing a dark blue dress, with their company logo on her right side, and black dress shoes.

Ashley rolled her eyes, "I swear you two are a bunch of idiots!"

Franklin pointed out, "Hmm yes but what does that make you?'

Kiki flipped her red hair, "I believe that also makes her an idiot."

Just when Ashley was about to protest, Leonard broke them up.

Leonard huffed, "Alright, that's enough all of you. You know, I would really love your help with, oh I don't know, picking out a house?"

The kids said in unison, "Yes father."

Alison stated, "You really don't need to be a smart aleck."

Leonard apologized, "Sorry sweetheart. I just want to get this done since we have a shareholder's meeting at 7:30 this evening."

Alison looked at her watch, seeing that it was 4:50. She told him, "Ah yes, right you are."

Franklin asked, "Besides, can't we take the house that is for sale right next to the Tang's place?"

Kiki commented, "Yeah, cave people have said that the manor next door was bigger than the Tang's manor."

Ashley admitted, "That has my attention."

Alison stated, "Well then let's get moving then." She brought out a bell and a butler came up to her. She ordered, "Take these bags and put them in the class limo. We'll take our private limo and head out that house."

The butler agreed, "Right away madam."

The butler got to work as the family got into their private limo, which was silver in color, to the house. The limo then took off.
