A Bee Lee Story

Chapter 2

Bee Lee was in his bed thinking about the offer.

"I know this will be good. 1 billion dollars?? I would make a fortune out of that!"

Bee Lee called Adrian.

"Yo Adrian your up buddy?" Bee Lee said.

"Hell yeah. Check your email. Danny sent instructions."

Bee Lee went through his phone and saw the message Danny sent. It stated,

"Hello Bee Lee and Adrian. I have composed this email into one so that both of you of will get this message. I am glad you both accepted the job! Here is what I need you to do. Next steps is get the equipment for your costumes because you're going to need to use it of course. There is no training but you must follow the code in order to keep this circus running. Bee Lee, please buy a clown costume and makeup for the disguise. Also, Adrian you can get your cop costume from the nearest police district. It will be beneficial if you both get the equipment early. I'll send the next steps by the afternoon. Talk to you soon."

"Well we have to get these costumes. I'll do it in the morning." Bee Lee said.

"Same. I have a police station near my area I can go there and pick up the police suit." Adrian said.

"Great!" Bee Lee said.

"I hope this will work out though." Adrian said.

"What do you mean?" Bee Lee said.

"I hope we can trust this guy. 1 billion dollars seems nice but hoping he is telling the truth."

"Pfffft. Of course he is. What is the least that can happen?"

"I mean. Don't you think he's scamming us Bee Lee?" Adrian said.

"Look Adrian. If you think this is a joke you might as well drop out." Bee Lee said. "Let someone else take the job."

"No no. I want to do this but I hope we get what we want."

"True true. But I trust Danny. He is our friend." Bee Lee.

"Okay you're right." Adrian said vacuuming his pillow. "I'll talk to you tomorrow after I gather the police suit."

"Okay logging out." Bee Lee turned off his phone and went to bed.

The Following Morning

"Ring." Bee Lee got up with his chicken alarm clock. Bee Lee immediately left the house without eating breakfast and went into the costume store. It was getting close to Halloween and many kids were buying clown costumes.

"I need to hurry up before it sold out." Bee Lee was rushing to find a clown suit that fits him. There, he couldn't find one. He then asked the employee if he can spot the clown suit.

"There is only 1 more. It is very expensive though."

"How expensive are we talking? Bee Lee said in curiosity.

"$300"

Woah. That was very expensive. But Bee Lee had no choice.

"For the 1 billion dollars." Bee Lee said as he grabbed the clown suit and purchased it. Bee Lee ran back to the house and called Danny.

"Excellent! Adrian just told me he got the cop costume." Danny said. "Now put them on and come to my headquarters immediately. You will need your training."

Bee Lee went straight to the bathroom, took a shower, brushed his teeth, rinsed his mouth out with listerine and put on the clown suit. He painted his face in all white and used red makeup of his lipstick. When he was done, he rushed to his car immediately and drove to Fox 5 headquarters. Bee Lee saw Adrian and fist bumped him.

"Okay let's do this!" Adrian said. Adrian and Bee Lee approached to Danny's office.

"Wow that was fast! You boys are serious! Now let's get you trained shall we?" Danny said. "Now follow me to the limousine. I'll take you to the circus."

All 3 men went inside the limousine and strolled to the circus. The excitement that Bee Lee and Adrian had on their faces was very real. Pretty much Bee Lee and Adrian's life has changed.
