Chapter 1 : The Grand Entrance

The Bigg Boss OTT house gleamed under the studio lights, ready to welcome its new set of contestants. The iconic Bigg Boss logo shone brightly, and the audience buzzed with anticipation. Anil Kapoor, the legendary actor and now the host of Bigg Boss OTT, stood at the grand entrance, his infectious energy radiating through the screen.

“Welcome, everyone, to Bigg Boss OTT Season 3!” Anil Kapoor greeted with his trademark enthusiasm. “This season, we have an exciting mix of contestants who are ready to entertain, compete, and bring you non-stop drama. Let’s meet our first contestant!”

The lights dimmed, and the promo for Chandrika Dixit, also known as the Vada Pav girl, played on the large screen. Clips of her viral Instagram videos during the lockdown, where she charmed viewers with her street food stall and fun banter, played out.

“Chandrika Dixit, our Vada Pav girl, is here to spice up the Bigg Boss house!” Anil Kapoor announced. Chandrika entered with a bright smile, waving to the audience before stepping inside the house.

Next up was Ranveer Shorey. His promo showcased his stellar career in Bollywood, with clips from his most memorable movies. Despite his current lull in work, his charm was undeniable.

“Ranveer Shorey, a powerhouse of talent, is here to make his mark once again!” Anil Kapoor said. After a small chat Ranveer walked inside house with a confident stride, greeting Chandrika as he settled in.

Behind the stage, Sana Makbul Khan stood anxiously, her heart racing. She took deep breaths, trying to calm her nerves. This was the first time she would be away from her parents for such a long period. The show's duration was two months. Being an only child, Sana had always been close to her parents. And after a certain reavel a few months ago she was really nervous about staying away.

Actually, Sana had visited the doctor after experiencing persistent pain in her abdomen a few months ago. Initially, she brushed it off as nothing serious, but as the pain intensified, she knew she couldn’t ignore it any longer. The doctor's tests and scans led to a heartbreaking diagnosis: advanced liver cancer. The news shattered her. At first, she was in denial, refusing to believe that her life, once celebrated by millions of fans was now on a countdown.
Days turned into weeks, and the reality of her situation began to sink in. She went through a period of deep despair, isolating herself from friends and family. However, one morning, she woke up with a sense of clarity. If her time was limited, she needed to make the most of it. She created a bucket list of experiences she wanted to have, people she wanted to meet, and adventures she had only dreamed of.

Joining Bigg Boss OTT was one of the items on her list. It was a chance to disappear from the grid in a way, to immerse herself in a new world and surround herself with people, which she believed would help stave off the depression. Convincing her parents wasn’t easy. They were worried about her health and the potential stress the show could bring. But Sana’s determination and heartfelt explanation won them over. She told them it was her way of coping, of living her life to the fullest in the time she had left. There were only few people who knew about her condition.

On the other side of the stage, Sai Ketan Rao paced back and forth. He was nervous but tried to mask it with confidence. Growing up without his father, Sai had always been the man of the house, taking care of his mother and sister who depended on him. Leaving them for this show was a big decision, but he was determined to win it for them.

Anil Kapoor was now introducing another contestant, Lovekesh Kataria, speaking to him about his life and vlogs. Sana could hear the laughter from the stage and tried to focus on the moment. She was determined to put on a brave face and make her parents proud.

“And now, let’s welcome our next contestant, tv sensation Sana Makbul Khan!” Anil Kapoor’s voice boomed.

Sana took one last deep breath and stepped onto the stage, greeted by a cheer from the audience. She walked with grace and confidence, flashing her radiant smile. Anil Kapoor welcomed her warmly.

“Sana, you’ve charmed many with your performances on TV. Tell us, what brings you to Bigg Boss OTT?” Anil asked.

“I’m here for a new experience sir. Life is about embracing every moment, and I’m ready for this adventure,” Sana replied with a smile, giving a few witty remarks that made the audience laugh.

Backstage, Sai watched her on the screen, scrutinizing her every move. She seemed too cheerful, always smiling. In his experience, people who were constantly smiling had something to hide. He couldn’t shake the feeling that her demeanor was a façade.

“Now, let's welcome, the talented star Sai Ketan Rao, on cue!” Anil Kapoor called out.

Sai took a deep breath and walked onto the stage to the beat of energetic music. His charming entey drew cheers from the audience. Anil Kapoor welcomed him and introduced him to Sana.

“Now, let’s have a little fun. Sai and Sana, you have to describe each other based on first impressions,” Anil Kapoor announced.

Sana went first, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “He looks like the villain from South Indian movies, a handsome villain.”

The audience laughed, but Sai’s smile faltered. He liked to be called a hero, not a villain. Though she called him handsome, it stung him in a way he couldn’t quite explain.

“And what about you, Sai?” Anil asked.

“She’s always smiling, which seems so fake. I’m not sure if we can be friends inside the house,” Sai said bluntly.

The audience gasped, and Sana’s smile froze. She thought, what kind of guy is he? But she decided not to escalate the situation on stage.

“Well, this is going to be interesting,” Anil Kapoor said with a chuckle. “Time to enter the house, you two.”

Sana and Sai entered the house together but didn’t speak to each other. As they walked through the grand entrance, they were greeted by the other contestants, who welcomed them warmly. Sana found her bed and began to settle in, her mind composed. Sai, on the other hand, kept an eye on Sana, his distrust growing.

Inside the house, the contestants mingled, choosing their beds and getting to know each other. Despite the initial interactions, Sai and Sana avoided each other, not sparing even a glance. The stage was set for a tumultuous journey, filled with secrets, confrontations, and unexpected bonds.
