At last minute I opened my wings and flew up onto the cliff that I had dove off from. My smile never fading from my face as I continued to do the same process of falling and flying up over and over again.

I couldn't help myself it was all too beautiful for me to stop. I couldn't even tell if night had fallen since the sky still looked the same. Finally after what seemed like the 100th time my wings began to feel tired and worn out. It must be from the lack of use.

I sat next to the lonely tree that seemed to be frail that if it would snap and fall down the very same cliff I've been diving off from it wouldn't be coming right back up.

The wind was raging on and I felt at ease as it ran invisible fingers through my long, black hair. This is all I needed from this world, peace and solitude.

Although I do miss everything that I had left behind to come to this world but there was no turning back, so I couldn't allow myself to feel regret over my decision.

My job was to create chaos among the people here but I couldn't bother with it since they pretty much created it themselves.

Swinging my legs back and forth I felt happy and quite in a destructive mood. I should at least find a toy to play with.

I dove off once more and this time I felt that time itself had frozen in place, and that I would be falling endlessly.

Spreading my dark wings I flew high up in the sky and headed towards civilization. Once I arrived I was finally able to tell that night had indeed fallen.

The city lights shone brightly against the dark sky. They can be stunning for those seeing them for the first time but after a while it just got damn annoying.

Folding my wings in I began walking around aimlessly, looking for any source of entertainment but I also needed to stay in the shadows so as to not draw attention to myself. Pft easier said than done since every square inch of this city is lit up brightly by the surrounding buildings. Like I mentioned above, annoying.

I heard some grunts and what seemed like pleading coming from the alley up ahead. Taking a quick peek I noticed two big males preying on a smaller male. One of them grabbed him by the collar and roughly shoved him against the brick wall.

"Where's the money Ayden?" I assume that was the smaller males' name. He whimpered unable to speak. The man gave him another shove against the wall and asked again, this time Ayden answered, "I don't know I was walking back to the orphanage and these kids from school came and beat me up. By the time I regained consciousness I only had the clothes on my back, everything else was gone."

I stood in awe at his angelic voice; I wanted to hear more of his voice coming from those lovely pink lips of his.

The other man growled what I presume to be out of frustration before taking a gun out. "You messed up Ayden and now you are going to be wiped away from the face of this planet."

I growled as well and this got their attention, "Who's there?!" The man with the gun wasn't so tough, just a coward hiding behind a weapon.

I kindly replied to his moronic question, "I'm your worst nightmare." I opened my wings to make myself more intimidating and bigger. This immediately spooked them and they ran off without a second look. Folding them again I took a step into the light so that Ayden could get a better look at me.

I also took this opportunity to take his appearance in. He had big blue eyes, dark brown hair styled in what I heard to be called emo, pale skin, he had a little bit of muscle but not too much, and lastly he had pink lips that looked to be quite kissable.

He was sitting on the dirty floor after being dropped by the man who had him against the wall. He stared at me in awe. I smirked, of course how could he not be. I have stormy grey eyes, pale skin that looks quite ashy, I'm skinny but I do have muscle on me, my hair is pitch black and it reaches just above my waist, and of course the most prominent feature of mine are my black wings that look beautiful especially since they are like a birds wings, very feathery and soft.

"Are you just going to stare at me all night?" My statement came out in a husky tone. I could see him visibly shiver at the sound of it, which only made me smirk again.

"Who are you?" I was surprised that his voice didn't tremble such as those of the goons earlier.

I didn't know how to answer that but I'll tell him anyways, "My name is Grims, and I'm a Kageki."

"A Kageki what's that?" He cocked his head to the side, I wanted so badly to mash our lips together but I restrained myself, "Kageki is Japanese for shadow demon."

His mouth formed an 'o' shape as he grasped onto my words. I inched closer to him and took hold of him as I helped him get off the ground.

"Thank you so much for saving my ass back there." He smiled up at me and started to walk away and that's when it hit me.

Smiling wide I grabbed his arm, "Aren't you going to repay your hero in some way?" I could feel him tense up; slowly he turned to face me.

With his free hand he began fiddling with his collar, "What would you like me to do?" Tapping my chin pretending that I was thinking about was so much fun because he started squirming under my grip as I kept him in suspense.

"I want you to meet outside of your place tomorrow night at this time." He gasped at me, his mouth opening and closing. I have to admit that's pretty adorable.

"Bu-but why? What are you going to do to me?" He voice now trembled as I continued to taunt him. I simply chuckled, "You'll find out tomorrow," I let go of his arm "but if you don't show up tomorrow night I'll personally drag you out." I smiled an opened smile and let him take a good look at my sparkling white teeth.

"Now tell me where you live, so I can take you." My tone was strict and demanding. He quickly told me the address to the orphanage and in a flash I grabbed him and took off into the sky.

He clung onto me like death, I chuckled at his reaction and I didn't mind much that he was practically digging his nails into my skin since I wasn't wearing a shirt just ripped pants, I'd give everything up ten million times over if it meant that I could hold him like this every night for the rest of my life.

Landing safely on the ground I grabbed his chin and smashed our lips together for savory kiss.

"I'll see you tomorrow my pretty toy." Turning around I quickly ascend up high leaving him dazed and dumbfounded.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun.
