Attention, my dear reader; this may be a spoiler, but I need to warn you about a few things. I will try to be as objective as possible and give as few spoilers as I can. This book began to be written in March 2024, but the idea came much earlier. At first, it was going to be about a depressed boy in love with someone who didn't exist, but in the end, this came out of my disturbed mind, what else can I say?
I based certain characters on the skinheads of the 90s and 2000s who terrorized Europe and the United States with their racist and neo-N4zi ideas (sorry for censoring the word, but we all get it). So if you are sensitive to beatings, rape (don't worry, I haven't described too much), or explicit deaths, you might want to leave now.
The fact is that since the story is literally set in the 1990s in the United States, you should know that this was the "end" of the Cold War when the Soviet Union fell in November or December 1991. We could say that the war continues in one way or another, but the racism and hostility towards Slavs or similar groups were too obvious, so don't be surprised if a character with such roots receives some racist attitude from another character.
It goes without saying that it was very difficult for black people to live at that time. Although they had "rights," many American citizens still showed their disdain for this community. A good example would be the KKK (Ku Klux Klan), who beat and killed black people for being what they are, black. That is just one society among many others, but I mention it to make it clear and to raise your awareness more or less. For a black person, it was very difficult to get a job, such as being a police officer, and even more so if you were a black woman because not only was it hard to be accepted, but they were also exposed to rejection from their colleagues, citizens, and persecution by these racist groups or gangs.
In addition to explicit content like that, the death of Tamara is described in detail. This is not a spoiler because the book is literally titled "Tamara", it starts with her death, and the description says everything begins with that, so...
Oh, by the way, if the appearance of racist groups or black characters bothered you, you're going to be even more annoyed when I tell you that the main couple is gay, so you can also leave. Everyone is going to be offended here, don't worry.
What I like most is that, being super patriotic and proud of my roots, I've included Latinos and a character from Spain. If those are your roots too, let's celebrate them together by reading this trash ❤️
By the way, if you're reading this and it doesn't yet say that the novel is completed, it's because I'll be uploading a chapter every month (in Spanish every week), so that after some minor tweaks, you won't find very obvious plot holes.
Oh, and so you don't get confused when you read a chapter in the first person or in the third person! When it's in first person, the protagonist is speaking, it will be very obvious, but when the chapter is narrated in third person, it's an external narrator. You can interpret it however you want, you are the one reading, but I just wanted to make that clarification so you don't get confused.

I'll stop now, I'm very annoying.
Thanks for staying, dirty-minded person (like me) 🌝
