I was lounging on the couch when my phone buzzed with an incoming FaceTime call from Walker. I swiped to answer, and his familiar face appeared on the screen."Nova?" he said, his voice filled with excitement.

"Yeah?" I replied, curiosity piqued."Did you hear?" Walker's eyes were practically glowing."Hear what?" I asked, sitting up a little straighter.

"Guess who's in Percy Jackson Season 2?" he teased, drawing out the suspense."Me?" I ventured, half-joking.

"Yes, but not just you. Malachai Barton and Dylan Hoffman are also in it!" he exclaimed."OMG!" I could hardly believe it. Malachai and Dylan were such big names."And..." Walker trailed off, clearly saving the best for last."And?" I prompted, leaning closer to the screen."And Mason Thames," he revealed with a grin."My Mason? My best mate Mason?" I asked, my voice rising with excitement. I couldn't believe Mason was joining the cast.

Walker raised an eyebrow playfully. "I thought I was your best friend."I laughed, shaking my head. "You are, Walker. But Mason and I go way back. This is incredible!"Walker grinned. "I know, right? It's going to be an amazing season."I could hardly contain my excitement. "I can't wait to start filming. This is going to be epic!"Walker nodded in agreement. "Absolutely. We'll have a blast, all of us together."

The next few days flew by in a blur of preparation and excitement. I couldn't stop thinking about the upcoming season and the fact that I'd be working with some of my closest friends. I was practically buzzing with anticipation.Between packing my things and mentally preparing for the role, I could barely sit still. One evening, as I was packing up my things, my phone rang again. It was Mason this time. I answered quickly, eager to talk to him.

"Hey, Nova!" Mason's voice was warm and familiar."Mason! I can't believe it. You're really going to be in Percy Jackson Season 2?" I exclaimed."Yep, it's true! I just got the call," he replied, equally excited."This is going to be so awesome. I've missed hanging out with you," I said.

"Same here. It's going to be just like old times," Mason said with a chuckle."And with Walker, Malachai, and Dylan? It's like a dream team," I added."Absolutely. We're going to have so much fun," Mason agreed.

The days leading up to the start of filming were filled with a mix of nerves and excitement. I spent hours reading through the scripts, trying to get a feel for my character and how I wanted to portray them. I also found myself daydreaming about the scenes I'd get to film with my friends.
