SEVERAL DAYS HAD PASSED, and with them came a multitude of changes. At school, Hwang Yoo Rin and Song Min Hee eagerly inquired about Solbitna's progress in tutoring Jungkook. Solbitna found herself at a loss for words, uncertain how to describe their sessions. She had noticed Jungkook gradually adapting to their routine, showing marked improvement in Math and other core subjects. However, beyond the academic sphere, Jungkook remained largely unchanged – often withdrawing into himself and speaking only when directly addressed.

Surprisingly, Solbitna found she no longer minded Jungkook's reticence as much as before. She had come to the realization that his taciturn nature was inconsequential; her primary focus was to fulfill her responsibilities and earn her pay.

Meanwhile, at the boarding house, the dynamics among the tenants were shifting dramatically, particularly concerning their friendship with Park Jimin. Initially, the trio of Jimin, Pureom, and Taehyung had been inseparable. However, since Jimin had begun dating Chae Ryung, his priorities had evidently changed. Their once-frequent drinking nights dwindled, and Jimin's seat at their lunch table often sat empty.

"They're in their honeymoon phase right now," Kang Pureom remarked at lunch, her voice tinged with a mixture of solemnity and bitterness. Yoon Seora now occupied Jimin's usual spot. "I understand why they want to be together all the time, but it's... frustrating, you know? It's almost as if he's forgotten about us entirely."

Taehyung nodded in agreement. "I guess he wasn't joking when he said he'd dedicate all his time and energy to his girlfriend."

"Seriously? He actually said that?" Pureom scoffed, her disbelief palpable. "What a loyal fool he's turned out to be."

Seora, maintaining her characteristic nonchalance, interjected with a dismissive click of her tongue. "Don't overthink it, you two. The honeymoon phase rarely lasts long. I'm certain he'll come crawling back when things inevitably go south."

Pureom and Taehyung exchanged shocked glances before staring at Seora, clearly taken aback by her blunt assessment.

Noticing their stunned expressions, Seora's brow furrowed in confusion. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Realizing the potential impact of her words, she hastily added, "It's not that I'm wishing ill upon them. It's just... a universal truth, okay?"

Pureom lowered her gaze to her food tray, considering Seora's words. "You have a point. And I suppose you'd know, given your extensive experience with boys in the past."

"What?" Seora's eyes widened in shock, darting between Pureom and Taehyung. "How do you know about that?"

"How do I know?" Pureom repeated, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Who else would tell me but your charming little sister?"
