I decide to stroll around the grounds a little longer after they had left, after maybe ten minutes I slowly make my way back into the building.
I go and check the lobby to see if my bag was still there but it was gone along with everyone else's, which meant they all had gone to their rooms to settle down. As I walk to my room I decide to go and check on Sofia. I knock on the door and after a few seconds she opens the door.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked, "I just came to check if you're okay and settled in." I respond "Yeah, I'm all good..." she says "Well goodnight, love ya", "love you too" I start to walk away when I feel the need to tell her that if she needs anything to just message me, We may not agree with each other but she's still my sister. I walk past Jere and Hila's room when I flinche from the yelling coming from the other side of the door "What?", "Did I fucking Stutter?" I hear Hila yell...Yeah I'm definitely not going to go check on them because they'll just drag me into one of their useless arguments and to be completely honest they both are pissed off and I do not want to get caught in the middle of whatever they have going on.
I finally reach my room and open the door to find two rooms situated across from each other, I walk down the hall and find the living room and kitchen. I open one of the doors to find the room empty except for a bed, my luggage placed on it, two large wardrobes and a nightstand on either sides of my bed. I'm pretty sure Jace is asleep so I decide to go take a shower.
I let the warm water hit the back of my neck removing all the tension from my body, once I'm done I step out and wrap a towel around my waist. I stare at myself in the mirror before walking to my room, I put on some Grey sweatpants and a black vest before getting into the bed. I lay down my mind racing with a hundred different things but it all went back to the thought of her. I reach over to my nightstand and open the cabinet below it and I take out the ring, I take it out of the box and slip it onto my index finger. My mind wonders off to the day I gave her the ring.

I said putting my ring on before I took out her ring and put it on her middle finger "this ring signifies our friendship because no matter how far away we are from each other, we'll have this to remind us of each other."
Some how a small part of me still wondered if she even kept the ring. My mind wondered to earlier on when we were on the grounds, the way she laughed, her hypnotizing smile. The way she bit her lip when she tried to talk to me in the mall, of course it was because we haven't spoken in years and I could tell she was nervous. Hell, I was nervous to even look at her until we sat down on the bench. I feel my eyelids get heavy as my mind go blank.
