Is it bad if Xerxies forgot for just a moment that she was in a literal castle owned by three kings who are apparently bound to her by their souls?
Is it bad if for just a moment she couldn't wait to see her father and forget about everything that had happened to her in the last however many days?
Is it bad if for a split second she hoped she didn't have to ever see those three kings again? If for just a moment, Xerxies dreamed up a whole life where everything was right, where Thena was still alive and they were happy and in love. Would that be so wrong of her? Perhaps.
Perhaps it made her the villain, perhaps it made her the bad guy. Perhaps she was a truly horrid person who could care for no one and could not be cared for in return. Maybe she was okay being the bad guy, maybe she was okay if her hopes and dreams made her the villain. She didn't care, she was done caring about other people's opinions, if they couldn't handle her then they weren't worth it.
She was trying to get back to her old self, back to the girl who fought tooth and nail for those she loves. Back to the girl who broke the nose of a boy who pushed her precious Thena to the ground. She wanted that girl back, she needed her back.
