Xerxies woke up that morning to Leah's head on her stomach and Seth's head on her outstretched arm, Xerxies being held down by their weight. She could only sigh and stare at her ceiling, waiting for them to wake up, or for them to eventually roll off her.
It was quiet in the room, nothing but the sounds of a random box fan in her room and the rain hitting her window. Birds were chirping outside the window too, but you could only hear them if you really listened, the soft sounds of Charlie getting ready for work were also heard.
A sudden ring from her phone had her reaching for it as Seth and Leah groaned, annoyed that they were woken up to Xerxies' phone.
"Shut up!" Seth growled as he buried his head under one of the pillows, Leah growling loudly as well as she rolled over and curled in a ball, the blanket covering her whole body.
Xerxies answered the phone, not looking at who it was, as she scoffed at her friends. "Shut up you big babies, it's just a phone."
There was a deep timber laugh from the other side of the phone making Xerxies pull the phone away slightly and see that it was Caius who called.
"Good afternoon to you too, darling." His voice screamed a smirk, and she knew he wore one too.
"Caius," Xerxies greeted as she got up from the bed, finally being free of the two wolves, and went to her closet. "What do I owe the pleasure of a phone call from you for?"
