Chapter-7

"Are you so careless? Why did you give ice cream to the baby?" The doctor's tone was a little harsh.

This morning when Jimin woke up and touched the baby, the little one's body was very warm then he panicked and woke Yoongi up. Immediately both of them reached the hospital.

Neither Jimin nor Yoongi had an answer to the doctor's question. Yes, Jimin was careless, that's why he didn't know his baby brother was eating ice cream and now Kook got a fever.

"This baby is not getting breast milk, so he is more prone to getting sick. You should pay more attention to him and keep him carful," said Doctor and both of them nodded their heads.

He came out of the doctor's cabin. “I should have paid more attention to him,” Jimin said.

"Don't worry about it. It's normal for babies to get sick. When Tae was a baby, we had to take him to the hospital every week because of his fussiness," Yoongi chuckled.

"When Tae was a year old, he dipped his face in spicy soup, and after that he was crying non-stop. Another time he was rolling back and forth on the bed and fell straight on the floor," Yoongi was talking about Tae's mischief when he was a baby. That's when a middle aged man called Yoongi. Yoongi walks over to him. 

"Yoongi, is that your partner?" The middle aged man asked and Yoongi nodded yes.

"That baby is a curse and unlucky. Why did you keep him in your house? Put him in the orphanage. Your partner's father and mother d!ed because of him. I am saying this out of love for you and your family." The man said looking at Kook disgustingly. 

“Thanks to your advice I know who to keep and who to avoid in my house” Yoongi walked up to Jimin. Jimin was standing there silently shedding tears.

"He's not a cu-curse or un-unlucky, Yoongi. Is this baby the one who told my mother not to abort him? It's my m...other who dec-ided everything, s-so why call this baby a c...urse." Jimin said to Yoongi silently looking at his little brother. 

Yoongi rubs Jimin's back softly and tries to comfort him because he's not good with words.

This time yoongi's touch didn't make jimin uncomfortable instead it comforted him. It's the first time Jimin finds comfort in someone other than his family. Maybe his grandma's words are right that Yoongi is your family.

Tae woke up, brushed his teeth, took a shower, got dressed and went straight to see Ungoo as usual. Then his hela ma says that Ungoo has a fever and Jimin and Yoongi went to the hospital with him. His mother Heemin came there and got angry knowing this. When his mother told Tae that ungoo had a fever because you gave him ice cream, it was like a sword of pain went through that little tete's baby heart.

Heemin didn't allow Tae to see Ungoo afterwards. Tae was kept in his parents' room. Since then, Tae has been crying non-stop.

" tete sh...olly (sorry) u-ungoo, i..ishe cl-eam bad, w..an shee u..ungoo " His face was red from crying. 

"Baby, eat food" Heemin said. It's lunch time now and Tae hasn't even eaten breakfast yet. Just continuous crying since morning. And she can't scold him in this state. Tae shook his head no and rubbed his nose.

Heemin decided to feed him food. There is no other way in front of her. Allowing him to starve like this will only affect his health. She came out of the room to get food for Tae.

" te...tete sholly..... wan-wan ungoo, sholly... " Tae kept whispering these words while crying.

"Bear why are you crying? Stop crying" Tae's father came into the room.

" te..tete sh-lly, tete-tete nwo..nwo ishe cleam b-bad, sholly ungoo. Becaush te..te ungoo...ungoo habe fevel.. " Tae said to himself

"Stop crying bear" Jaewon's voice got louder. He is already stressed and his son's crying is not helping his situation at all.

" tete sholly... tete sholly... wan ungoo " Tae kept saying those words. There was no abatement in his crying instead it continued to increase and his face became redder and his eyes were tired due to the incessant crying. Tae's condition was getting worse than the feverish kook.

" STOP ANNOYING ME AND GET OUT FROM HERE " Jaewon shouted at his son. 

Tae startled when he heard his father's loud voice. He quickly ran out of the room out of fear.  All this was too much for the 3 year old to bear. 

When Namjoon came through, Tae was outside his parents' room and saw him crying hard. He hurried to him. Tae was picked up by Joon. "What's wrong bear? Why is my strong bear crying" Joon asked gently rubbing his back.

" ooni... ooniee " Tae was barely able to speak.

Namjoon panicked when he saw that he wasn't even taking a breath. "Breathe bear, aren't you oonie's strong bear. Breathe"

Namjoon had tears in his eyes too. Although Tae and him are like enemies, Joon likes Tae a lot. This condition of Tae made Joon very upset.

As Tae started to breathe properly he rested his head on Joon's shoulder and fell asleep. After giving Tae a peck on the head, Joon carried him into his room, placing Tae on his bed and Joon sat beside him patting his head.

After two hours, Tae woke up. " Oonie... wan shee ungoo " he said looking at Namjoon who was next to him. Namjoon picked him up and walked into Yoonmin's room. Namjoon put Tae down when he reached Yoonmin's room.

He ran to Ungoo and crawled into bed. Jungkook wasn't sleeping. Little one was sucking the pacifier and lying down. He spat out the pacifier when he saw Tae.

"ta..." he said and tae could see the sparkle in his ungoo's eyes.

" tete sholly ungoo... tete nwo nwo ishe cleam bad... tete sholly ungoo tete leally sholly " Tae poured out everything that was inside him.

Jungkook also said something in his gibberish language and Tae didn't understand anything but he only understood that the 'ta' that ungoo was saying in between was him.

" Plivashy ( privacy ) pleash ' Tae said looking at namjoon.

As Namjoon started to walk out Tae said " Oonie, tete wan food. Pleash get tete food " Namjoon chuckled as Tae went back to his old self. "Brat" he mumbled. 

"ungoo, tete plomish tete nwo nwo hurt ungoo. tete will plotect ungoo" tae said showing his pinky finger. Ungoo also giggled and gripped Tae's pinky in his small fist.
