As I'm writing this, I'm kind of hesitant about wether or not I should publish anything from this book at all because I don't want to get people's hopes up. But eh, whatever.
So yeah, hi everybody. It's been a while. How has everyone been doing?
I didn't think I'd be putting anything here for a long time, but I, like many other Aphmau fans, have heard of the news regarding Aphmau's VidCon announcement, and I just want to share my thoughts on it for those who are willing to read.
For anyone who doesn't know, Aphmau announced at VidCon this year that MyStreet season 7 is officially in production, and fully animated at that. When I watched the announcement on YouTube, I was definitely expecting it, Aphmau confirmed she's not continuing MCD, and My Inner Demons might never be continued. Even if there's a chance, I still have my doubts. But the trailer definitely got me to shed a few tears, bringing back many precious childhood memories, because I did discover MyStreet before My Inner Demons. I just kind of abandoned it after I started watching MID.
Something that saddens me though, is that I actually started giving up on Aphmau. Her content showed no sign of changing at all, and the only reason I still watched those kiddie videos was because of Pierce and Noi, but even they're hardly any fun to watch anymore because they're different from the way they were just a few years ago, and I'm not even talking about MID. They don't feel like the real Pierce and Noi anymore, especially Noi, who used to be my favourite. I was genuinely considering putting her and her content, my fanfictions, My Inner Demons, and even my previously beloved daemos bois behind me, because I had discovered more fun YouTubers that entertained and interested me, like Clownpierce, Evbo, aCookieGod, and others which discovered through an awesome Minecraft series called Parkour Civilization that I love alot. Until one fateful day when I decided to go back to watch Aphmau one more time and found a certain MID character again.

The video wasn't even a minute in and I already had to pause it so I could process what the heck I saw. And when I realized who it was, I was ecstatic. And I got even more excited when I saw her most recent video where he made his first appearance in an Aphmau SMP thumbnail, as a knight even. Here's your proof:

Man, the joy I felt when I saw him in a video for the first time. Nowadays, he and Asch are my favourites, so I was even happier. And now I watch all of Aphmau's videos, just for the sake of seeing if he'll show up. I can't lie, I can't help but smile when he does. And hopefully they don't twist his personality like they did to Noi and Pierce, I love the smartass with the glasses we have already.
Now back to the trailer. The end of the trailer was the main thing that made me cry. When Aphmau said that last line, it felt like it was not only directed at Aaron who lost his memories, but to the dying fandom. It felt like it was directed at us. So here I am. I'm not leaving, and I'm never leaving again.
Can I also talk about how strange it was to see Rhys's voice actor on stage with the voices of Sylvanna(am I spelling that right?), Katelyn, Garroth and Daniel? They're MyStreet characters, and Rhys is a My Inner Demons character. I for some reason thought that maybe Rhys, Noi and Pierce would be in MyStreet too, but I'm probably just crazy and he's just there because Rhys has been added to the Aphmau SMP. But we can't be too certain.
I, like any person would be, am disappointed at how long we'll have to wait for season 7, but it's understandable because if the animation is as beautiful as the animation in the trailer, the it would obviously take a long time to animate.
Now, regarding the fanfic.
I'm sorry to say that I'm still not certain if I'm ever continuing this, but if I ever am, I'm not gonna continue it for a long time. I'm obsessed with accuracy, even when it comes to fanfiction. When I originally started writing this crossover, I was adding in some elements of MyStreet to the Aphmau SMP in this AU for fun, but now I have to know the full story before continuing on, which isn't happening until after MyStreet is complete, in late 2025. Over a year from now. So you won't be receiving any other updates until then.
Seeing that many other writers have either continued their old works or are rewriting them after the Aphmau fandom came crawling back out of the shadows, I might start publishing something else in the meantime, but not about MID unfortunately. It would probably only be Aphmau SMP one shots, even then I'd only write about characters that are easy enough to understand, so not Aaron, maybe not Zane, I ain't bothering with Michi, and don't even ask me what's going on with the new Noi, dear delulu...
Either way, I'm currently working on something else. For anyone who likes Parkour Civilization, I'm working on a Parkour Civilization x reader fanfiction. I'm going to try my best this time round to not throw another fanfic away after chapter 2, because Parkour Civilization is easier to write about than Aphmau SMP. I'm still trying to get over my trauma from Evbo's Monkeycraft series though- Ack x1000-
If I ever end up writing Aphmau one shots, I'll update again. Thank you to those who decided it would be worth it to waste their time scrolling through this unnecessarily long thing 😂 I appreciate it, genuinely. Have a good day or night everybody, pretend this crazy person was never here.
