-The Angel-

What the hell was I thinking!? I could not believe those words had slipped out my mouth, and he agreed to it! I could feel my face become flushed as I quietly led the way to my apartment. Ghost following closely behind. I reached for my keys out of my purse, my hands shaky as I fumbled to insert the key into the hole.

Finally unlocking the door I swing it open and stepping in. I quickly reach out to the wall on my right, flipping the switch to turn the lights on. I hear Ghost come in behind me and shut the door. I slip my shoes off my feet and place them on the shoe mat I had. "Feel free to get comfortable, want something to drink?" I offer nervously, watching as he removed his shoes and his jacket but keeping his hoodie on.

"Got a whiskey?" His deep voice responding to my question. "Of course" I smile as I quickly walk over to my kitchen. I reach for the bottle of whiskey from the cabinet and fill a glass. My hands slightly shaky as I do so. I watch him from the corner of my eye sit and relax on my couch. Biting my lip I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself.

I poured myself a glass of whiskey as well, I needed it to help me loosen my nerves. I grab both glasses and make my way over to him in the living room. I feel heat rising to my cheeks as he watches my movements. He hadn't been subtle all night, I could feel him watching me when we were at the bar. The way he watched me made me nervous but not in a bad way.

He reaches out and takes the glass from my hand, our hands touching briefly. I watch as he lifts his mask to take a drink and I manage to catch a glimpse of part of the scar he had mentioned earlier. The scar reached his upper lip and trailed up his cheek, the rest hidden beneath that retched mask. I quickly take a drink and sit down beside him.

I could feel my heart racing in my chest, his eyes watching me closely. The silence growing between us. I bit my lip, his eyes immediately dropping to watch as I do. The sound of a growl escapes from him and I feel my face heat up. I tilt my head back and drink from my glass before setting it down on the coffee table in front of us. The silence between us was deafening, you could practically hear a pin drop.

I hear him clear his throat as he shifts his gaze from me and look around my living room. I follow his eyes, stopping when they land on my bookshelf. "You like to read?" His deep voice breaking the silence suddenly. I nod as I get more comfortable on the sofa, crossing my legs on the couch as I do. "Mostly just romance stuff, I haven't been able to read as much lately" I tell him.

Somehow it felt easy to speak to him, at least until he's looking at me. Then I just become all nervous again. "Romance, hm?" I hear him question, seeing a smirk grace his lips as he does. I subconsciously lick my lips. That damn smirk. It made my heart skip a beat any time I got to see it.

"Busy with the bar, I'm assumin'?" He asks as he takes another drink. "School actually. I'm in my final year of University" Forcing my eyes away from him, I had to stop staring at him. I could feel his eyes watching me, finally allowing my eyes to meet his. It felt like he was staring into my soul. "Why'd you invite me in, Y/N?" He asks me suddenly.

I swallow hard. I couldn't even figure that out myself, how in the hell was I supposed to answer that question. I couldn't meet his eyes anymore. "I... I'm not sure..." My voice quieter than before, heat rising to my cheeks. "I think we both know" He whispers as he reaches over, his fingers reaching for my chin and forcing me to look at him. Our faces only inches apart now.

My breathing hitches in my throat as my eyes fall from his eyes down to his lips and then back to his eyes. He closed the distance between us as his lips meet mine in a soft kiss. I close my eyes and lean into the kiss. I could feel his stubble prickling my skin but I didn't mind it. I reach up to his face, my finger tips brushing against his exposed skin. My touch causing him to groan against my lips as he pulls away.

He rests his clothed forehead against mine, his breath fanning across my face. I could smell the whiskey in his breath. I lean in and kiss him again. I felt addicted to the taste and feel of him on my skin. I feel his arm wrap around my waist and pull me onto his lap. I let out a small yelp against his lips making him chuckle in return.

I pull away briefly as I look into his half-hooded eyes. He looked tired. I recall Soap telling me earlier they had just completed a 3 month long mission. Of course he'd be tired. I feel as he traces his thumb across my bottom lip before planting a soft kiss on them again. I feel myself leaning into the kiss, wanting more.

I feel his teeth gently bite my bottom lip causing me to gasp lightly against his lips. He was quick to take advantage of my open mouth to plunge his tongue into it, fighting for dominance with mine. My fingers slide up his chest and around his neck, pressing myself more into him, earning me a groan from him. I could feel his excitement from the bulge in his pants.

He pulls away from the kiss to trail feather light kisses down my neck, I tilt my head more to the side to get him better access as he continued his trail of kisses. A soft moan escaping my lips as he sucks at the skin at my collarbone. "Ghost..." His voice leaving my lips as a whisper. He hmm's in acknowledgement as he continued his assault on my neck.

"I've never..." I bite my lip as I whisper. I felt beyond embarrassed. I had never been with a man before. I'd always been too busy to ever experience something so intimate with someone like this. The wetness between my legs never having been experienced by another. "Never what, love?" He asks as he pulls away from my neck, watching and waiting for my response.

"I've never done this before..." I admit softly. God this was so embarrassing and now it's totally ruined the mood. He takes hold of my chin again, making me look into his eyes. "Then we wont, not until you're ready" His voice soft but still holding the tone of desire from earlier. He pecked my lips and I couldn't help but melt at his words. His other hand still holding me to him, his fingers tracing small circles on the small of my back.

"Maybe..we should get to know each other first..?" I suggest softly as I watch for his expression, as one of my hands toys with part of his mask. "I don't date, love" He says as he tilts his head back against the couch but still watching me beneath half-hooded eyes. I couldn't help but feel disappointed. The one time I find someone I'm actually interested in and with my luck they don't date. "But.." His voice bringing me out of my thoughts.

"But..?" I repeat his words back to him. A small flicker of hope squirmed in my chest. "We can see where this goes" He tells me as he removes his hand from my chin and brushes strands of my hair behind my ear. An action so intimate and small but made my heart skip a beat all the same. "How's that sound?" He asks with a small smile on his lips.

"I'll take it".
