I.

The next day dawned upon them, and Minhee and Gunil both woke up early. The two of them had planned to take a morning jog, and Minhee, who woke up first at around six in the morning, sat up and walked to the kitchen to make coffee for both herself and Gunil. The kitchen was quiet, the only sound being the gentle hum of the coffee maker as it worked its magic. Minhee took a moment to enjoy the solitude, the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air.

She poured two steaming cups, savoring the warmth that seeped through the ceramic mug into her hands. After making the coffee, she walked back to her shared room with Gunil and Hyeongjun to wake Gunil up. Going over his bed, which was thankfully at the bottom bunk, she managed to let out a soft laugh at his sleeping position.

His body was sprawled out, his limbs in all directions, and his phone rested precariously on the top of his cheek. Minhee shook her head, amused by the sight. She placed one of the coffee cups on the nightstand and gently nudged his shoulder. "Gunil-Oppa, wake up," she said softly, trying not to startle him. Gunil groaned, his eyes fluttering open as he tried to comprehend his surroundings.

"Morning already?" he mumbled, rubbing his eyes and sitting up slowly. He reached for the coffee Minhee had placed beside him, taking a careful sip. "Thanks for the coffee, Minhee," he said with a sleepy smile. Minhee nodded, taking a sip from her own cup. "No problem. We've got a jog to go on, remember?" she reminded him.

Gunil stretched, shaking off the last remnants of sleep. "Right, the jog. Give me a minute to wake up properly," he said, stifling a yawn. The two of them finished their coffee in comfortable silence, the early morning light filtering through the curtains and casting a soft glow on the room. Once they were both fully awake and dressed in their jogging gear, they headed out, leaving a note for the others in case anyone wondered where they had gone.

The cool morning air was refreshing as they stepped outside, the city still quiet with only a few early risers going about their day. The streets were mostly empty, and the only sounds were their footsteps and the occasional chirping of birds. Minhee took a deep breath, feeling invigorated by the crisp air. "Ready to go?" she asked, glancing at Gunil, who nodded in response.

After half an hour of jogging around the nearby park from their dorm building, they stopped at a bench right across an ice cream parlor and sat down, looking at the beautiful sunrise. The sky was painted with hues of orange, pink, and gold, creating a breathtaking view. They both sat there for a while, catching their breath and enjoying the serene moment. The park was peaceful, with only a few other joggers and early morning walkers passing by.

II.

It was a perfect way to start the day. A while later, Minhee's phone buzzed, pulling her out of her thoughts. She glanced at the screen to see a notification from Seungmin: "Why didn't you tell me you were going out jogging with Gunil-Hyung :((( I want to jog too..." She let out a giggle and showed the message to Gunil, who let out a laugh. "Looks like Seungmin is feeling left out," Gunil said with a grin.

Minhee nodded, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yeah, he seems pretty upset about it," she replied, typing a quick response to Seungmin. "Next time, we'll make sure to wake you up," she sent, adding a playful wink emoji at the end. Gunil shook his head, still smiling. "He'll probably regret that once he realizes how early we woke up," he said, stretching his legs out in front of him.
