Prologue

"she's in there." A man told him. Sliding open the door, a young girl, with black hair sat in the middle. With dull blue eyes, she lifted her head and sees a current teacher of what they had told her: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College.

"Are you Kaori?" The man asked, leaning down to the girls level. She silently nodded as a response, making the man hum.

"Are you aware of what's happening?" The man asked. She responded with another nod, silently observing the man in front of her.

"Then, will you come with me?"
The man asked, reaching a hand out for her to take. Her eyes roamed from his face, to his hand, hesitantly taking it and standing up.

A few days had passed since she was taken in by Masamichi. She kept up her daily training, even if Masamichi told her not to, until he decided to send her to her first mission as a sorceress: Retrieve Utahime and Mei-mei from a haunted mansion.

When she arrive, the place was already a rubble. "You cryin'?" She heard a cocky voice say.

She blinked and saw a woman under the rubble, irking at the white-haired teen. Then, she turned her head to see a white-haired girl, around the teens age.

"Stop picking on the weak, Satoru."
Another teen said.
"Who am I supposed to pick on then? The strong?" The white-haired boy sarcastically said.

"Hey, what are you doing here, little girl?" The white-haired girl noticed the newly arrived girl.

"I was sent here to retrieve you."
The girl answered monotonously.

"Who? Us?" The white-haired boy asked, tilting his head, leaning down to the girls level.

"No, I was sent to retrieve Mei-mei and Utahime." The girl bluntly answered.

"Well, no need for that, little girl! I've already saved them!"
The boy in front of her smirked proudly.

"He's tall.. but his ego is bigger than his height.."
She thought to herself, staring at the boy boredly.

"Who sent you anyway?"
The other boy asked her, resting his hand on his hip.

"Masamichi Yaga." The girl answered monotonously.

"Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru. Masamichi-san mentioned these two before.. the troublesome duo.."
She thought to herself as she looked at the two boys with a calculating gaze.

"Eh? Mister Yaga sent you? What's your name?" The girl previously in the ruble asked.

"Kaori Yaga." The girl answered monotonously.

"Yaga?!" They all simultaneously let out in surprise.

"Old man has a daughter?!" Satoru said in disbelief, making the younger girl irk.

"How old are you?" Suguru asked her in confusion.

"14." She answered bluntly.

"What's your rank?" Satoru asked.

"Second grade." The younger girl answered, leaving them baffled.
