Mutual enemy

Fast forward: present time

It's the middle of my first year at karasuno high school and it honestly sucks. I have friends but just bounce around friend groups. Although there is one friend that stands out to me. I never thought I would talk to this guy. This friend of mine is Kageyama Tobio.

We aren't close. If anything more acquaintances than friends. He's usually talking to Shoyo Hinata but when we talk we bond well.

As I make my way into the class I see Tsukishima heading out of the same building I'm supposed to be in. We make eye contact while giving each other side eyes.

Once I'm in the classroom I make my way to my seat. "Ugh I hate that guy with my whole heart" Kageyama says while huffing. "Who are you talking about" I ask as I get seated. "That skinny bitch Tsukishima" his eyes narrowed as he said his name.

I was kind of shocked we had the name enemy. Tsukishima has made sure to make my life nothing but hell. He'll say anything for people to be suspicious of me. Not to mention he has his little minion Tadashi Yamaguchi attached to his hip 24/7. None of his rumors really get far but they're definitely annoying to hear.

"Hellooo?" Kageyama waved his hand in front of my face. "Hm?" I snap back into reality. "Thought we lost you for a sec" Kageyama says with a raised eyebrow. I debate on telling Kageyama that I also hate Tsukishima. Oh what the heck Kageyama seems chill. "Sorry it's just I also hate Tsukishima" I sighed thinking about everything he's done. "Why's that" Kageyama asked seeming interested for once in his life. "It's a long story" I try to cut the topic short feeling awkward and a little embarrassed by memories of me and Tsukishima dating.

"I just wish I could get revenge on that bastard. I just want to do something that'll wipe that dumb smirk off his dumb face." Kageyama grumbles as he sinks into his chair.

Those words gave me an idea. Tsukishima and kageyama are enemies, and he very clearly does not like me. If we teamed up against him that'll obviously make his life miserable. But what could we do...

"Hey you know what we should do" I add to the conversation that was probably already finished. "Hm?" Kageyama hums as he looks at me. "We could fake date. Like think about it for a sec. He openly hates the both of us. If we came together we could make one big revenge" I say with a small smile on my face. "Idk man" Kageyama mumbles and yet seems interested in the plan. "Take my number and if you're down to do the plan just text me. Only if you want to though" I hand him a note with my number on it and start to pay attention to the teacher.

Later

I was about to go to sleep after a long day of nothing. That was until my phone vibrated. I turn on my phone and the message I saw made a smile grow on my face.

"It's Kageyama. I'm in"
