The next day

I lay my head down on my desk as I see the shadow of Kageyama appear. I look up at him while he's staring down at me. "Uhm so" he began, "how are we gonna do this" he asked awkwardly. I honestly didn't think about that. I honestly wasn't thinking at all actually. Before I get any words out the class begins. A little into the lesson I notice the small paper on my desk.

I look at the black haired boy as he reads the note and looks at me giving me a thumbs up. I smile at him hoping the plan isn't something I end up regretting.

Lunch

Kageyama and I meet up to discuss the rules of our "relationship". We both think about rules we should have. "I have one" Kageyama starts, "you have to come to my practices and my games" he tells me with a confident tone. I have never really been one to support any of the activities the school held. Once the school had its downfall a big handful of people stopped going. "Haha no" I say straight forward. "There's no way people are gonna think we're dating if you don't come to my stuff." He kind of has a point. "Fine" I give in. We talk about rules for majority of lunch and came up with a good amount.

"Alright last rule. You can't kiss me. Well you can just not on the lips" I add. "Ok now that's just not believable" Kageyama says cocking an eyebrow. "What? I haven't had my first kiss yet and I don't plan on having it taken by a fake boyfriend thank you very much" I say a little embarrassed. "Alright alright, now the actual last rule. Nobody can know about this" Kageyama says while getting ready to leave "well duh" I say with a little laugh

Later on

At the end of the school day I turn to leave but I'm stopped by a hand on my shoulder. "We should probably start hanging out after school" Kageyama said with no expression on his face. "Yea probably, don't you have practice today though." I ask slightly tilting my head. "It was canceled. Let's head to the park" before I had time to think I was being dragged to the park by kageyama.

At the park we just sat on the swings talking about whatever came to mind. "So..what's with you and the beanpole? Why are you guys enemies? I never see you talk at school and when you guys are close to each other you both just give dirty looks."He looks at me with a blank face. "Well we dated in middle school and I broke up with him. Ever since he's tried to make my life hell. That's pretty much it" I sigh. Kageyama nods in response as he changes the topic

We decided to end our little hang out by going to a local convenience store. The distance between our houses wasn't that far apart so Kageyama decided to walk me home since he would have to start doing so anyways

Next day

Today was the day Kageyama and I decided to try to make ourselves seen in public. We both agreed that we should start by walking to school together. As I finish getting ready I hear a notification from my phone. I look at my lock screen to see a message from Kageyama saying he's at my door.

"Hey" I smile as I open the door. "Hey, let's get going" he slowly turns and starts walking as I catch up to him. There was a slight breeze so I pull out my phone and go to the camera app to fix my hair. As I look into the camera I notice two figures walking behind me. I look at there faces to see Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. Tsukishima was staring into my camera which caused me to freak out a bit. Kageyama probably noticed them as well since his next actions were to intertwine our hands. I could feel my face warm up at the sudden movement as I put my phone back into my pocket.

Tsukishima's POV

I was walking with Yamaguchi to school as we were talking about a recent exam. I then notice two people in front of me. A boy with black hair and a girl with (h/c) hair. I could easily tell the boy was Kageyama just by looking at him but I couldn't figure out who the girl was. The girl pulled out her phone as she started fixing her hair. The action is familiar to something that
y/n used to do in middle school. I look into the camera to find out that girl is y/n. My eyes widen and then narrow. There's no way y/n replaced me with that idiot. As I keep looking at them I see Kageyama lock hands with her.

"Tsuki? Are you ok? Why are you staring like that" I was taken out of my thought by the freckled boy next to me. "What are you talking about?" I pretend I wasn't just staring at the two in front of me. "You make that face when you're mad" Yamaguchi had a little panic in his voice. I could tell Yamaguchi had just then noticed the two walking in front of us. "Is that Kageyama and y/n" Yams said surprised. I nod as we both narrow our eyes. "It doesn't matter Tsuki! You're too good for her." Yamaguchi said confidently. "Yea" was all I replied with.

At school
Y/n POV

Since Kageyama had made it a rule for me to go to his practices that included the morning one. I really did not want to go but to be fair I had nothing else to do. I sit in the stands as I study and every once in a while take a look at what the team was doing. While I was watching the team I look at my "boyfriend" and notice him being surrounded by 3 boys. One of the boys had orange hair, one a buzz cut, and one with a little blonde falling onto his forehead. Kageyama was blushing and looked at a loss of words.

Kageyama POV

"So whose you're girlfriend" Hinata sung the last word. Before I could get any words out I hear two voices. "Kageyama has a girlfriend?" Tanaka said while walking over. "You're lying Shoyo. Do you really think he can get a girlfriend" Nishinoya said laughing at pointing at me. I glare at the two second years and the both back away. "I'm not lying look she's over there" Hinata points as we all look up to see her studying. "Hey the first year brat does have a girlfriend" Tanaka says amused as if it's impossible for me.

"Oh my gosh what happened to your face" Hinata backs up far away from me. "Awwww I think he's smiling because of his girlfriend" Tanaka teases. "Awwww look he's blushing too" nishinoya joins in. I hadn't noticed I was smiling or blushing but knowing I was made me blush harder now out of embarrassment. "Don't you idiots think you should focus on the reason we're here instead of whatever you're talking about" Tsukishima chimed in. "Hey! Learn to respect your upperclassman!" The second years yell in union. "Alright guys huddle up" ukai announced. While walking to everyone else I notice Tsukishima staring at
y/n. 'This plans working faster than I thought' I think to myself

Later
Y/n POV

I was paying attention in class until I got a little note on my desk. I look over at Kageyama who was looking back at me. He looked at me, then at the paper, and right back to me signaling me to read it. I sigh as I open the paper

Just as I was writing back I look at and see the teacher staring at me. I try to act as if I was writing down notes instead. My heart was beating fast knowing if the teacher knew we were passing notes she would take it and read it in front of the class. I look back up at her to see she has turned around writing down more information. My body sinks into the chair as I sigh. ' We're going to get caught one day' I think as I feel my heartbeat calm down.
