The Void (temporary name)

The cafe

Ok so I originally wrote this about 2 years ago on my computer—I'll try to replicate what I remember as best as I can.

Btw this switches between third and first person a lot. Don't be surprised when it does I read both third and first person a bunch so I naturally switch between them while writing.

"Huh..?"

Those were the first words she said, It had felt like forever since she had talked—Or heard anyone talk.

"W-where am I?"

She tried to open her eyes, It looked like a forest.

Bushes and trees surrounded everywhere she looked, How did she get here?

Speaking of which, Who even is she?

Well, that doesn't matter right now, Just need to get to a safe place—Then she can't have a mid-life crisis (Would it be mid? I can even remember my name)

Hey, isn't that a cafe in the distance?

A door illuminated by  light blue roses and fairy lights with a matching awning

"How cute" 

Wait, there's no time to admire the adorableness, You have to go inside!

"Right", She took a few steps trying to get the hang of walking, It felt like a thing she used to know how to do but has long since forgotten. 

After a few minutes she made it to the cafe and opened the door....

A delicious aroma engulfed the room

"Oh my gosh.." Were the only words she could mutter

There were tables with light blue umbrellas and seats, Each one of them were full of people talking, laughing, and eating.

"Excuse me?"

The girl's thought process was interrupted by woman with brown hair, grey eyes, and blue streaks in her hair.

"Do you want a seat?" The woman asked, She was wearing a light blue waitress outfit, a name tag on it said "Sadie"

"Uhm.. Sure." 

"Right this way then" Sadie took the girl's hand and walked towards an empty table

"Oh.. uhm thank you.."

"No need, I'll take your or-" Sadie explained but was interrupted by a bell

"Sorry I have to go, I'll be back though" Sadie said quickly, then left.

"I guess I can think about who I am now.." She said while sitting in a seat.

"I can't even remember my name—This is ridiculous..."

She spotted a mirror, she leaped out of her seat to finally see what she looked like.

She examined herself, She had white hair in space buns with a short-sleeved Blue shirt and a pink skirt with long white socks and bright purple eyes, She was a bit dirty from walking (and laying) in the dirt.

She stayed still for a few seconds.

"Florence" she said

"It's not my name but it feels right. It'll be my temporary name!"

Feeling accomplished she went back to her seat.

"I'm back—Sorry for the wait" Sadie came running back, out of breath

"Its okay" Florence responded

"Anyways do you want anything?" Sadie asked while handing a menu

"Well, I don't really have anything to pay these with.."

Sorry for the cliffhanger since this convo didnt happen in the original idrk where to go with it—I'll probably say some fun facts about the og soon.
