Y/n Pov The next day, morning It was 7 am school starts at 8:30 am i usually go to the gym to shoot some baskets before school starts, it helps me calm down. I get my phone out and connect my music to the gym speakers. That's one of the perks being team captain of the basketball team, I also have a key to enter whenever into the gym.
I started my warmups by shooting some 3 pointers and layups. I looked at my phone and realized that 30 mins went by and i had to get going. When i was heading to the locker room i realized someone was sitting on the benches so i went up to see who it was and surprisingly it was jenna sitting all alone. I went up to her and asked Hey jenna what are you doing in here all alone? Well aaliyah felt sick and she didn't wanan come and i still don't really know anyone tbh and i saw the gym door was open i saw you in here so i came in. what about you? she says
Ohh well I usually come here when i'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed so i can relax a bit and calm down yk? but besides that if you don't have anyone to hang out with today you can hang out with me? i reply back to jenna, are you sure? If you have plans with your friends i don't wanna ruin your plans with them.
No no don't worry abt that i can always hang out with my friends another time and lucky for you since this school allows us to go off campus you can pick where we can go eat for lunch i say. I look at her and she seems all happy and excited so i smile back.
Jenna pov Time skipped
Y/n told me to meet her outside next to the parking lot it's been 10 mins and i don't see her what if she forgot? What if she just didn't wanna hang out with me?

we're in the drive through y/n is ordering the food while i'm tryna start conversation with her, what time does class start today? well it's block day 6th period starts in like 20 mins but don't i didn't tell you this because i don't like mentioning it to anyone because i don't want poeple to think i get special treatment but my uncle works as a math teacher for 11th graders, so i can easily just get us an excuse for our 6th period we don't even have to go to class. unless you wanan go since it's your second day of school? she says to me
I was honestly thinking do I really wanna ditch on the second day of school? what if her plan doesn't work should i just ask her abt it?
