Third person pov
Atsumi was created by mori ability, the manifested of it. Mori met atsushi when he was just a kid, it was only a small interaction but mori took a interest in the boy, maybe it was a obsession or not but mori ability created atsumi. atsumi was atsushi but younger and has a more normal child personality. Atsumi was always by mori side but one day atsumi was met atsushi. Atsushi was late for work and accidentally bumped into mori and atsumi, atsushi was shocked to see mori, the port mafia boss and the man he met as a kid once. Mori just smiled seeing atsushi again, while atsumi just did nothing and atsushi soon left. atsumi was a curious kid and just wanted a friend but mori wanted the real atsushi.
Atsumi decided to befriend atsushi, if atsushi left the agency then atsumi could play with atsushi all the time so that was the plan in atsumi eyes. Atsushi was sounds sleep and woke up because a another nightmare but instead of being alone, he saw atsumi. "Hello!" Atsumi said with a big smile, atsushi was terrible so he immediately screamed but then quickly stop to not draw any attention. "I'm atsumi! But you probably already know that!" Atsumi said, atsushi just nod, he knew atsumi because he saw atsumi but atsushi didn't think he would see atsumi in his room.
"Why...are you here..?" Atsushi slowly asked, atsumi just giggled, it was a innocent giggle. "I wanted to be friends with you!" Atsumi softly said, atsushi look confused, he didn't understand this at all. Atsumi was smiling, it wasn't a creepy smile so that was good. "it might be confusing but you don't have to understand it." Atsumi suddenly said, atsushi just nod and look down, atsumi just hold out his hand for atsushi to take and atsushi slowly took it. "I'm here for you atsushi.." Atsumi said, atsushi eyes widened but nod, he didn't question it.
And that how the friendship of atsushi and atsumi started and how mori was getting closer to atsushi.
