She needed to calm her nerves
She took to writing letters
She didn't have to write her letters
Yet, she found it cathartic to write them
Especially with all that's happened
She recalled many things
Things she didn't want to dwell on
A past that haunted her
And the events leading up to her "retreat"
She wrote letters
Calming her nerves, as needed
To let her sister know
How she was faring
While she'd write in return
For everyday she couldn't visit her
Telling her of what's going on
And how she, too, was faring
Catharsis for them both.
