[Ryan Ashley's POV]

It was soon Snow's birthday. We got her favorite breakfast set before we went to wake her up.

Of course she was asleep with Toronto and Casper around her.

I smiled as Josh sat at her side and started to shake her  and sing Happy Birthday to her.

"Happy birthday to you,
happy birthday to you,
you look like a monkey
and you act like one to," he sang softly as she stirred in her sleep and looked up to smile at her dad.

"Happy birthday, baby," I smiled as she crawled on his lap.

"Thanks, Momma, and Daddy," she yawned with a smile.

"Come on, we got a big day ahead of us, and its all about you," Josh said, picking her up in his arm and getting up.

We went to the kitchen and sat to eat, and then the keys jingled from the door and opened, and everyone walked in, including Kylie, Sabrina, Allie, Kelly, and Angelo, and Eryn and Christy and Christopher (McKenny).

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SNOW!!" Everyone shouted as they entered the kitchen.

(A/N: Christopher McKenny is a really cool photographer who also used to work at Strange & Unusual. Check him out on instagram, @mcalister_)

"Uncle Angel!!" Snow cheered as she ran to Angelo's open arms as the guys smiled around.

"Told you she'd be happy to see him," Ryan smiled.

"Hey there, kiddo. Happy birthday," he said as he hugged her and we greeted everyone.

Once we all ate we got to her opening her presents, and she was happy with all of her things, and soon we got ready and left to the park.

It was nearby a place I wanted to stop by at, so we drove to the park and while Snow was playing with Chris and Vinny, I snuck away after a while down the street to the cemetery.

I arrived to the tombstone under the apple tree and sighed as I read the it.

Here lies

"JANE DOE"

A loving mother who died
protecting her daughter.

Rest in peace.

I looked down at the grave of Snow's biological mother.

I sighed, looking down at the locket in my hands. It was the locket I found on Snow the day we found her and her mother.

"I just wanted to come see you, let you know that... That she's doing okay. She's a good girl, healthy and happy and safe," I smiled, but then frowned.

"I still wish there was more time to save you... A child should never be taken away from her mother, especially like this," I said, and gripped the tombstone angel.

"I promise, I will continue to take care and protect her, and find out what happened to you," I said. "Replacing a mother like yourself is just so hard. You were a great woman and... And I just wish you had a chance."

I then let go, and bowed my head a bit in respect, then turned to leave, surprised to see Josh smiling there.

"Hey," he said.

I gave a small smile. "Hi."

He walked over, placing his arm around me, and looked at the tombstone of the weeping angel.

"I know she was a good mom for the short time she was one..." he said.

I nodded, looking at the locket, opening it and seeing the woman with baby Snow.

"At least whatever hurt her can't hitt her anymore. She's at peace now and her daughter is safe," he said. "The least we can do is give Snow a good and happy life for her."

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah."

We said our goodbyes and left the cemetery back to the park where soon after we went to have dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Snow never looked so happy, especially with her father.

I only want what's best for her.

This was a bit of a filler in a way.
