Chapter 31: A New Connection

A few days after Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kim had returned home, the Kim household settled back into its usual rhythm. Healing was ongoing, but the love and support from one another made each day brighter.

One evening, Jisoo received a video call from her boyfriend, Ahn Bo Hyun. She had been looking forward to catching up with him, as their schedules often made it difficult to find time for long conversations.

As she answered the call, her face lit up with a smile. "Hey, Bo Hyun! How have you been?"

Ahn Bo Hyun’s face appeared on the screen, mirroring her happiness. "Hey, Jisoo! I've been good, just busy with work. How about you? How’s everyone at home?"

Jisoo glanced around to make sure her siblings weren’t eavesdropping, then smiled back at him. "We're all doing okay. The boys are healing, and we've been taking good care of them."

Meanwhile, in the adjoining room, BTS and Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa had gathered, their curiosity piqued. They whispered among themselves, trying to catch snippets of Jisoo’s conversation.

Jungkook, ever the curious one, leaned in closer. "Is that Bo Hyun hyung on the call?"

Jennie nodded, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I think so. Jisoo unnie looks really happy."

RM, always the leader, tried to keep the group in check. "Guys, we shouldn’t eavesdrop. They deserve their privacy."

But V, with his playful nature, couldn’t resist. "Just a little peek won’t hurt, right? We’re just making sure she’s okay."

Rosé giggled softly, adding, "She’s been smiling a lot lately. It’s nice to see her so happy."

Lisa, ever the practical one, shrugged. "As long as we’re not interrupting, it’s fine."

Back on the video call, Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun were engrossed in their conversation. They talked about their recent activities, shared stories, and expressed how much they missed each other.

"I can't wait to see you in person again," Ahn Bo Hyun said, his voice filled with warmth. "I miss spending time with you."

Jisoo’s eyes softened, and she nodded. "I miss you too. Let’s plan something soon."

As the conversation continued, Jisoo’s siblings whispered among themselves, their curiosity turning into genuine happiness for their sister.

Jimin, his heart always in the right place, smiled. "I’m glad she has someone who makes her happy."

Suga nodded in agreement. "She deserves all the happiness in the world."

J-Hope, ever the sunshine, added, "We should support her and Bo Hyun hyung. They make a great couple."

The group agreed, and as the video call came to an end, they dispersed, leaving Jisoo to her privacy. They carried with them a newfound appreciation for the joy that Ahn Bo Hyun brought into Jisoo’s life.

Later that night, as they all gathered for dinner, Jisoo joined them, her smile radiant. BTS and Blackpink exchanged knowing looks, their hearts warm with the knowledge that their sister was happy.

Jennie, sitting next to Jisoo, nudged her gently. "You look really happy, unnie. It’s nice to see."

Jisoo blushed slightly, but her smile remained. "Thanks, Jennie. I am happy."

The rest of the dinner was filled with lighthearted conversation and laughter. The bond between them all felt stronger, a testament to the love and support they shared.
