Tyler waited the hall like every other student while Cheryl Blossom sat in Principal Weatherbee's office with Sheriff Keller. What was Cheryl guilty of? Tyler knew she didn't kill Jason. Cheryl loved Jason more than she loved her own self and Tyler was there to witness that himself.

Minutes passed and Cheryl had finally left the office with her parents who had a tight hold on her after they had stormed into the office just seconds before. Cheryl looked at Tyler with teary eyes and the boy couldn't help but feel anger as he seen the tight grip that Cheryl's arm was in. It would sure leave a bruise. Tyler wasn't any idiot either, just like Cheryl, Tyler knew her parents abused her and it killed him everyday knowing he couldn't do anything about it. Just like how Cheryl felt towards him and his father.

"Cheryl didn't kill Jason, Toni. She loved him more than she did herself" Tyler was currently working at the Wrym and Toni being the good friend she was had stayed to keep him company.

"I'm not saying she did, but what do you think she's guilty about?" Toni didn't know Cheryl enough to say that the girl murdered her twin brother but from the way Tyler always spoke about the redhead she doubted the Blossom girl would do such a thing.

"I don't know...maybe she lied about what actually happened that day? I mean, autopsy results show he was killed on July 11th. Cheryl was dead certain and honest with me that she had last seen him on July 4th" Toni let out a sigh "I don't know, Ty...don't give up on her though, she sounds worth it" Tyler nodded as he wiped over the bar with a cloth.

"She is worth it. I'd give my soul just for that girl, she's my best friend" Toni gasped acting as if she was offended "okay, so this girl you literally grew up with doesn't matter?" Tyler let out a small laugh "of course you matter, Tiny. Though, you have got strong competition" he said jokingly.

"Well maybe I need to meet this redhead and make her fall in love with me. Then you will have to compete against both of us" Tyler couldn't help but imagine his redhead best friend and Toni together as an actual couple. Cheryl had said it before...opposites attract.

"I'll be waiting for the day, Tiny".

"Okay, so if we put these together..." Tyler trailed off looking between his own lyrics and Evie's. Evie couldn't help but stare at the boy who was so focused on their project. Lately she had felt at ease with the Buzzcut boy and she truthfully didn't want it to end.

"...what do you think?" Evie snapped out of her trance and straight back into reality when the boy looked up at her. "Yeah, I agree. It sounds really good" she nodded slowly. "You weren't even listening" Evie scoffed (guilty) "I was listening" Tyler raised his brows "really? So what was the last thing I said before I asked you what you thought?".

Evie rolled her eyes "you were asking me what  think about the song" she answered as if it were obvious "wrong. I asked you if we should have a hit make out session" Evie's mouth fell open as she looked at Tyler who was wiggling his eyebrows at her.

"Ew! As if I'd kiss you" Tyler laughed "by the way you were staring at me I'd say different. You were totally thinking about kissing me" Evie wanted nothing more than to shut the boy up. "Shut up" Tyler leaned closer "make me" his voice was low and somehow managed to make it sound so seductive.

Evie stared into a pool of chocolate brown eyes in front of her and making the mistake of looking to the boys lips which made the boy grin. "Come on, make me shut up" Evie leaned in closer to the boy as did Tyler who's eyes were already fluttering shut awaiting for the pressure of the girls lips on his.
