1 Chapter 1: Consequences of Disobedience

Stella was working as a hairdresser, she received a call from a new customer who wanted her to come over to her house to braid her hair and the hair of her two children

She went to the new customer house and plait the her hair and her two children.

After her service, the new customer gave her the some of 20k inorder to appreciate her effort, and she was very happy with it because the money is more than the amount she was expecting from her.

The following year, Stella was walking along the street, minding her own business, when she heard a voice calling out to her.

She turned to see a man in a flowing white robe with a long, bushy beard. He had an urgent, almost desperate look in his eyes as he approached her, and he delivered the dire warning with a quivering voice.

"Young lady the Lord said you should not go out of the house on 16th of November this year. But you should try and fast on that day and asked for Devin Favour from heaven, peace be on to you." And the prophet left after sharing the message.

On that day, Stella received a phone call from the new customer that gave her 20k last year.

The new customer asked her to come and plait her hair that she had went to her shop that she didn't met her in shop. And Stella told the customer that she cannot come that her body need some rest.

"No problem, it means that you will loss my business. I would rather go to somewhere else to plait my hair and that means you will miss out the 20k which I have prepared for you." The new customer said this word so that she would change her mind because she want her to come to her house.

"Okay, please Give me a few minutes and I will come to meet you, I just need to get some things sorted out."

"You don't have to come to your shop, I am going to text an address for you now, then you will come as you came to my house last year, I want you to come and plait my hair and two of my children hair too.

"Don't worry I can remember where you are leaving."

"I have already change my location so I am going to text another address to you so that you can come."

"Ok no problem send me the address."

Stella held the phone in her hand, her fingers trembling slightly. The temptation to ignore the prophet's warning was strong, but something inside her told her it was a bad idea.

She stood there for a few moments, torn between the promise of money and the nagging feeling that something was very wrong.

Moment later, she received a text message it reads: enter a bus going to festac town drop at second gate junction then call me I will come and pick you.

Then the new customer called her back and she reached for it.

Hello I have seen it. Ok. am coming right now. Ok am expecting you. Bye. And the new customer end the call.

Then Stella stared at the address the customer had texted her. Something about the situation just didn't feel right, but the lure of the money was strong.

As she gathered her things and prepared to leave, she couldn't shake the sense that she was walking into danger.

Then Stella went out of the house without telling anyone because there is no one in the house.

She went to take a bus going to festac town and she drop at second gate junction then she phoned the new customer. And the new customer asked her to wait at the Junction.
