Marie's P.O.V. :

We slowly approach the kid as he stands up and Klaus asks, "Does anyone else see... little Number Five, or is that just me..?"

"No.., I see him too," I reply, very confused.

The kid, Five, looks down at himself, "shit."

We slowly shuffle back into the house and the kitchen. I put out my cigarette and leave it in an ashtray near the kitchen door and we sit down at the table as Five sets down a cutting board.

"What's the date?" Five asks as he grabs a bag of bread, "The exact date."

"The 24th," Vanya replies.

"Of what?" Five asks.

"March," I say.

"Good," Five says, setting down the bag of bread on the table.

"Are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Luther asks, speaking what everyone else was thinking.

Five sets down two slices of white bread. 160

Luther stands up, annoyed that Five didn't answer him. "It's been 17 years," Luther says.

"It's been a lot longer than that." Five replies, blinking behind Luther and grabbing a bag of marshmallows.

"I haven't missed that," Luther said, talking about Five's blinking.

"Where'd you go?" Diego asks.

"The future," Five replies. "It's shit, by the way."

"Called it!" Klaus yelled out.

"I should've listened to the old man," Five continues as he walks towards the fridge. "You know, jumping through space is one thing," he says, grabbing some peanut butter from the fridge and walking back to the table, "jumping through time is a toss of the dice."

Five pauses, looking at Klaus, "Nice dress."

"Oh, well, danke!" Klaus replies, twirling part of the skirt.

"Wait, how did you get back?" Vanya asks.

"In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time," Five says, opening the peanut butter and spreading some on his bread. 200.

"That makes no sense," Diego says. "Well, it would if you were smarter." Five responds.

"How long were you there?" Luther asks, blocking Diego as he stands up, ready to punch Five after his remark.

"45 years," Five says, "give or take." He puts some marshmallows on one of his bread slices. ~80.

"So what are you saying?" Luther asks, sitting down, "That you're 58?"

"No, my consciousness is 58." Five says, putting his sandwich together. 440, "Apparently, my body is now 13 again."

Damn, 440 for one sandwich. So much for what could be considered just a snack.

"Wait, how does that even work?" Vanya asks.

"Delores kept saying the equations were off," Five says, shrugging and taking a bite of his sandwich. "Bet she's laughing now."

"Delores?" Vanya asks, but Five doesn't answer and eats his sandwich.

"Guess I missed the funeral," Five remarks, picking up a newspaper.

"How'd you know about that?" Luther questions.

"What part of the future do you not understand?" Five asks Luther, judgingly. "Heart failure, huh?
