My eyes widen in shock at the glowing screen, Bella's name plastered across the top. I take a deep breath. I haven't talked to her since we hung out at the bar, and I didn't understand why she could be calling me.

Flashback

I sit at the bar, my elbows resting on the cold wooden surface in front of me. It was my 21st birthday, and Bella took me to the bar 15 minutes away from the campus.

"Come on! At least get one drink. I didn't bring you here for nothing!" Bella pleaded, trying to convince me to try alcohol. I truly never had a drop of alcohol, the thought of it disgusted me. Alcohol was the cause of my brother's death, so I swore I wouldn't drink unless it was a special occasion. According to the visible eagerness coming from Bella, this day was one of those acceptions. I let out an aggravated groan before reluctantly agreeing to getting a shot with her. She nearly jumped off her stool in excitement as she waved over the bartender to request the shots. A few moments of tapping on the counter with my nail and waiting impatiently pass before the bartender walks over with the shots in hand. Before turning around, he winked at Bella, causing my blood to boil. I can't believe that prick would even...
Don't.
I push my angered thoughts to the back of my mind before looking over at Bella once again, her enthusiastic expression putting me at ease.

"Are you ready?" She asked, a stupid grin plastered across her face. I nod in response. We clink the shot glasses in a cheers before gulping them down, the bitter taste of whiskey burning my throat. I shook my head, trying to get over the burn. My eyes widen in surprise. "That was actually pretty good." I uttered in disbelief. Bella let out a soft giggle, the kind that made my heart melt even more for her.

"How about we get a few more, hm?" She suggests before giving me a devious grin. "My treat!" She gave me a wink before waving the bartender over once more, requesting 6 shots, three for each of us. Once the bartender returned with the shots, Bella and I immediately started gulping them down like there was no tomorrow. After a few minutes, I begin feeling dizzy, as if I were floating above the clouds. I look over to Bella, whose face was flushed slightly due to the alcohol. I don't know if it was my feelings that took over, or the alcohol, but something compelled me to crash my lips into her's.

End of flashback

I am pulled out of my thoughts by the vibrations of my phone in my hand. I quickly remember what was going on. I immediately press the pick up button, the screen of my phone switching from the incoming call screen to the caller screen. I hesitantly bring the phone up the my eye before hearing her voice, causing shiver to go down my spine. My eyes widen in fear as she says the words no one ever wants to hear.

"We need to have a talk."
