After helping Ben convince his parents to give his project green light, they wasted no time into informing the headmistress, Fairy Godmother, and send out the invitations to the kids parents. Since Catherine was already a part of the project, Ben asked her and his girlfriend Audrey to help him welcome the villain kids.
Catherine was beginning to rethink her friendship with Audrey while having to deal with her complaining about the program. "I'm serious, I tried talking to Ben about it, but he's so on board with this, why didn't you stop him?"
Catherine closed her fists, forcing a smile on her lips. "Because, besides being one of my best friends, he is our future king and it is not my job to question him. Besides I think it was a great idea. Maybe you should wait to meet them before you start complaining."
Audrey opened her mouth to reply, but stopped when she noticed Ben approaching them. "The limo left a while ago, so they'll be here in five minutes."
They were standing in front of the school with the Fairy Godmother, waiting for the four kids to arrive. Beside them was the school band, waiting for their turn to start playing.
Catherine was wearing a light blue blazer with a black blouse underneat it. Her hair was caught up in a perfect ponytail and she was wearing golden rings and her pearl necklace. If there was one thing that Catherine valued most was her looks. It didn't matter the occasion, she always wanted to look good, not because of other people's attention but because she enjoyed looking good.
The blonde looked around, bored, looking to the students who were holding signs that said "Welcome", trying to find any familiar faces.
"They're here!" Ben pointed out, noticing the limo finally arriving. The students started waving their signs, cheering them like they were royalty, while the band started playing. Audrey was holding Ben's arm very tightly, nervous. Catherine was also nervous, but she knew how to hide it.
The limo stopped, and as the driver opens the car, one of the kids, fell out of his seat into the ground, fighting over something with one of the other villain kids. The music and the cheering stopped, but the boys didn't seem to notice that they had a public witnessing their little fight.
"Ow! Stop! You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?" one of the boys yelled. He had white hair and his clothes consisted of white, red and black.
"Cause' you want it!" The other guy shouted back, clearly enjoying more pissing of the other boy than fighting over the jeans or whatever that was. He had long black hair, and was wearing a sleeveless leather jacket and a red bonnet hat.
Two girls left the car, catching Catherine's eyes instantly. Both girls had colored hair, one purple and the other one a dark blue, matching their own clothes. Catherine was used to pastel colors, so seeing these two girls with their leather clothes and darker tones was intriguing to her.
"Guys, guys, guys! we have an audience." The purple haired girl announced, noticing Fairy Godmother approaching them, causing the boys to stop and look up at the women with a smile.
"Just cleaning up. Get up." the boy said, picking up his friend. Catherine noticed that he was holding a computer under his arm, and by the looks of it, it definitely wasn't his.
"Leave it like you found it! And by that, I mean just leave it." Fairy Godmother said, and the two boys threw everything back inside.
Catherine's eyes were on the blue haired girl who just smiled at her, being the only one who cared about causing a good impression. And it was definitely working with Catherine, who looked at her, examining her hair and clothing. Definitely not what the princess was used to see.
