y/n POV
I watched helplessly as several spears stabbed into Junko, holding her in place. She stood there, twitching, an eerie, pained smile on her face.
Junko: W-What? ...This isn't... this wasn't supposed to. ...Why... me?
Then, the spears retract into the floor, allowing Junko to fall limply on the ground. And that was the last time Junko Enoshima ever moved.
Monokuma: Now then, I am painfully aware of the meaning and power behind a promise. And believe me when I say, I really wanted to avoid a situation like this, y'know? But I guess words just aren't enough sometimes. Sometimes ya need to show people what happens when they start playing with fire. Oh what a great promise. But, I hope now you all see how serious I am about all this. Defy me and you'll find yourself shot full of holes, blown to smithereens, buried alive... you get the gist. So I hope you all obey the school regulations from now on.
I feel my shoe start to get wet and, looking down, I noticed Junko's blood had pooled all the way to me. I quickly back away, shaking her blood off my shoe as I start to feel lightheaded.
Monokuma: I don't know why you all are so surprised. She just died, just went and stopped living. It's no bigger a deal than the thousands of other people who die every day. In fact, it's just as natural as the inevitable end of the world itself. This isn't some superhero comic or one of those stereotypical RPG's. So you don't have some miracle recovery when you die, you just die. Because this is real life!
Kyoko: Why did you have to kill her? Didn't you say you would throw her in a prison?
Monokuma: Oh yeah. I changed my mind.
Kyoko: No, that's not it. You've been wanting to kill this whole time.
Monokuma: Kill this whole time? Don't be silly, you can't kill time. Or did you mean that I wanted to waste time this whole time? Come on, what kind of shmuck do you take me for? I'm Monokuma! Anyways, none of that matters anymore. I have something I'd like to give you to get you started on your search for the blackened.
He then pulls out several small black files that have his face on them, along with a large number one.
Monokuma: I call it... the Monokuma file! Naturally, you all aren't experts at this sort of thing, so I put together this handy little file with everything I know about the circumstances and cause of death. And how do I know the cause of death, you ask? Cause the surveillance cameras saw the whole thing, so I got to watch it all go down in HD!
y/n: So you're saying you know who the killer is?
Monokuma: Duh, of course I do! How could we hold a fair trial if nobody knew who the culprit was?
Kyoko: That's a good point. The judge needs to be able to make a fair, proper decision. That's... strangely comforting.
Monokuma: Now then, with all that jibber jabber outta the way, make sure you give this investigation your best shot. Not like you have much of a choice anyway. I'll alert everyone when the class trial is about to begin and where to gather.
And with that, Monokuma vanished. I spent a little while staring at the floor, thinking about all that had just happened. In less than thirty minutes, I had just seen the dead bodies of two of my classmates. I was in silent shock, and the fact that nobody else said anything for a while meant they must've been feeling something similar. However, our lives are still on the line and standing here doing nothing is only making the killer's job easier. With that thought in mind, I put on a calm expression and begin walking towards the exit to the gym. However, I turn around and call out to everyone else.
