It has been about 3 days, I've been working here.. Everyone behaves nicely with me except Eva but I hope she will also slowly start to like me..Everyone speaks with each other but due to my nervousness I can't even speak properly, That's why I like to stay alone most of the time..

I slowly got to know that there are two types of maid. One cleans the room and floor, stairs and the other one helps in preparing food..But since I am the one who helps in preparing food, I am not allowed to step out of this room and have to help in preparing food that makes me bored but still it is my work, so i must work with full interest..

We had a separate room for us and we could go to meet our family but should ask permission from our leader in charge..

Maid's leader was Mina..So it was not too awkward to ask for a day off..But since it only has been few days I've been working I thought it would be a little awkward to ask for leave...

Maid was the lowest class in this mansion.Chef were a little higher and the highest one were the in charge of this mansion..But one thing always kept my curiosity.."Did this mansion had some owner or are those people who look after the mansion the owner, Why no one in this mansion speaks about the owner?"

I walked towards Mina and asked her.."Who is the owner of this mansion, Why does it look like there is no owner of this mansion?"

She looked at me with scared expression and looked here and there to see if someone has listened to our conversation..She pulled me towards the corner of the kitchen and told

"Don't speak about the owner..And don't ask anyone else about the owner of this mansion.." - She told me with scared expression..

"But why?" I asked her with confused expression..

"No one in this mansion is allowed to speak about the owner..Also we are just a simple maid..If you had asked anyone else about him then you would have been killed within a minute.. You are safe that no one listened to our conversation otherwise you know..About the owner    you are talking about, there is but he is not here he is in abroad..But remember not to speak and think about it ok,stay away from him..He is not just a simple owner..He is a mafia stay away from him.." - She said and left from there to continue working in the kitchen..

"Mafia?, What's that?" I thought to myself..

It has been about 7 days since I kept working here..I started to go towards kitchen from the maids room wearing my maid's dress, but i felt something unusual today..Everyone was rushing here and there preparing foods, cleaning every corner of the room, chef were passing ingredients to each other and maids were just running around helping the chef in preparing food..

I saw Mina who was also preparing different ingredients fastly..I went towards her and asked

"Is today some kind of festival Mina?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that today our master - Suddenly a voice disturbed her.

"Mina, can you please pass me that salt fastly" A chef told her..

She rushed towards the chef and gave him the salt when she suddenly remembered about one thing.

"Oh my god, I forgot about the library. What should I do now? I don't even have time right now to tell other maids, they must be busy in other cleaning.." Mina talked to herself..

I went towards her and asked"What happened Mina, why are you so much tensed."

"I forgot to clean the library..Library is the first thing he will go through." She told to me..

"Who is she talking about?" I thought to myself..

"Can you please clean the library for me? I am really so busy right now.." She told to me and gave me a batch of cleaning maid..

I nodded and she told to get the essentials through the other room..

"But where is library " I asked her..

"Go through the main stairs and go left, you can see a big door that is the library.." She told me and I went towards the room with water bucket, floor mop and wiper..

I opened the door and saw a beautiful library inside..

I went inside the library and started to clean the floor of the library and after cleaning the floor, I started to wipe the dust of the corner of the book holder shelf..

I was wiping the dust when my eyes landed on a book in the top shelf that I was trying to search from the past 2 years..

My eyes started to bright seeing that book but I came in my sense that I was just here to clean the room not to read.

But still my curiosity wanted me to read that book.. I looked here and there and found no one and started to reach towards that book but due to my short height it was of no use..

I started to stretch my foot but still it failed, then I started to jump to get that book but none of those plan worked..I kept stretching my foot more and more but then I felt someone coming towards me, I thought I was just overthinking so I continued to try but the next moment I felt someone was towering my body from backside and

that became true when that person reached the book and took it out from the shelf..

My legs started to shiver when I found someone so close to me..I was being scared at the thought of being fired..

"I didn't thought a maid would be so interested in reading a book"

A deep husky voice startled me from
behind..

I looked back slowly keeping my gaze low and clutching my skirt in fear..

I was looking towards the floor that's why I didn't got to know who that person was but I could feel his strong aura and his tall height that was towering me fully..

He started to bend down towards my level that made my knees start to get weak..

He looked towards my face and slowly backed away but his sudden voice made me flinch badly..

"Mr Kang" - He shouted loudly which made me clutch my skirt more tightly.

"Y-yes,sir" - A man in his 30's came inside the library looking a bit scared.

"Since when did we started to accept minor girls as a maid." The tall man asked looking towards the scared man waiting for an answer..

"I d-don't know an-anything about it s-sir" The scared man said defending himself..

I can't let him be misunderstood..

"I a-am not a s-small g-girl." I said defending myself..

"A-and also why do you c-care ab-about my age.. It's not that I work for you a-anyway..." I said nervously gathering up my courage..

I looked up to see with my teary eyes when I found out he was already staring at me..
